When it aired for the first time, everyone doubted that the series would not go well due to the basic form which does not represent the Kamen Rider. However, the series is actually good with a unique school drama (feel so refresh in Kamen Rider series). All actors and actresses did a really good job, some of them succeed in their career like Shota Fukushi and Fumika Shimizu. When Fourze went to the cinema, Shota Fukushi still appeared while he was offered in some doramas. Respect for him.
Between the space exploration motif, the ability to swap limb/mounted modules with different functions, and being an Anniversary Rider, I’m fairly certain that Fourze is at least partially an homage to Super-1. His helmet is definitely inspired by Uchuu Tetsujin Skyzel, though.
