Ryan Williams played for Saraland High school and we loved watching him play in high school now we get to enjoy him watching him achieve greatness in college football. Oh yea he ran track in high school also, he's the total package.
Ryan is very loved at Bama! We are so happy that he chose Bama! In fact I had a buddy that is a Auburn fan complaining today because they didn't get him! Your grandson is a fine young man!
Bama absolutely got conservative in the second half, especially on the defensive side of the ball. They stopped bringing pressure, stopped stunting, and dropped to zone for the majority of the half. They were blitzing, rushing six, seven folks sometimes, and manning up on the perimeter in the first. Offensively, they got stuck trying to look like they were still being aggressive while not actually keeping their foot on the gas.
Yea it is hard to stop a good team on 4 straight downs from getting 10 yards - this is why Lane Kiffen always goes for it on 4th down when he faces Bama - it is very hard to stop a team that has the mindset that they are going to use all 4 downs instead of just 3 to get 10 yards 🐘🏈🏆 Roll Tide
Yep. I am more interested in seeing how this defense progresses - there's no doubt the offense will get better and better - but I am so excited about our defense this year - this is the best defense that we have had since 2016 - I am a defensive guy, so I can live with a 17-10 game and 3 yards and a cloud of dust on offense - but this is about to be a special season - we did not FINISH last year but we will this year
Love the analysis Clint - you are easily the best technical guy I listen to. Most guys do not go into the details enough...keep it up brother and best of luck with this new venture...I am watching you from Johannesburg, South Africa
I’m proud of Alabama! Great win and I was very entertained. With that said, there is an entire season of football to play. Georgia wasn’t the Natty, and Tennessee and Texas could be just as tough as Georgia. #KEEPYOURFOCUSSTAYREADY
U think Milroe should have allowed the running backs to establish the run?!? Milroe isn’t the play caller!! The coaches should’ve call more run plays for the running backs!!
Love your comments Mick. About UGA being something better than BAMA . The record speaks for itself . I respect their team . Just not intimidated by them. RTR !!!
I remember 1992. I was there at the game. Nobody gave us a chance. Also remember that their was one writer in AZ that voted us number one all year long. Everyone thought he was crazy.
When Paul said the dynasty is over, he didn’t say the team isn’t good anymore. He’s just saying we haven’t won a championship in three years!! The run IS over. But it doesn’t mean the team isn’t dominant anymore.
I agree that they got much tighter on the edges. Idk why they didn't keep attacking the middle with the TE's and dump offs to the RB's. They were giving up that all first half because of the Milroe/Williams threat. I also noticed they put a spy on him also. Take what the defense gives you and burn clock more efficiently. I noticed they were snapping the ball with sometimes 19 seconds left like come on?
Here's the thing; Georgia made masterful adjustments at the half. Then Bama couldn't adjust to the adjustments. To me, Bama knew Georgia would be ready for the long ball & the standard run game, so they came out doing something different. But Bama's adjustment should've been, as soon as Georgia started stopping what Bama was doing to start the game, Bama should've immediately started going downfield. Should've taken more downfield shots by the middle of the 3rd quarter.
A legend after 4 games - we are very lucky to have him Hopefully he continues the messaging on the eye tape - after all, we do live in The United States of the Offended, and we just can’t make everybody happy….

Love Williams, the kid is special. But the Michael Vick picture is a bad look and saying that you back him with the picture is a worse look. He's still a kid which is why he shouldn't get killed for posting it. Deboer will talk with him about it and he'll be better because of it in the future. We didn’t back down anything scheme wise. Couple good players went out. Downfield blocking suffered. Couple half hearted 4th down runs. Georgia played better. Defense got gassed.
Pretty good game, though the running backs were grossly underutilized again as usual. Wouldn’t blame them to not be as passionate blocking since they’re not getting the damn ball.
@hisrighthandsaves it’s sad that you’re very naïve and condescending and don’t know what you’re talking about. But thanks for your minorly impactful information.
@@PatrickTrotter-q2tI agree they were def underutilized. But that's not an excuse to not pass-blcok, and I think they would say the same thing. We gotta start getting the run established, though.
@@doc8013 establishing the run is fallacy. Football is about attacking your opponents weaknesses. Georgia's defensive interior is the strongest part of their defense. Bama scored 2 rushing touchdowns on them and ran for 150yards on them
@@brooksbond1220I mean, he's not wrong. They got way too cute on a couple of those calls. They weren't needed and they stalled the drive. I imagine Deboer would say the same thing. I know Saban would lol.
The triple reverse throwback one was perfect & could've been a TD, but Proctor missed a block. He had a chance to block the guy who made the tackle & totally missed. So it was a great play design, but it wasn't executed.
Georgia could of scored on the last possession if beck through a better ball so Georgia’s offense was definitely moving the ball on bama’s defense in the second half once they found confidence. Georgia adjusted to Bama’s offense by taking away the edges so Milroe couldn’t run which means he has to throw and Milroe only really made one down field throw that won the game the entire second half. Beck literally had to throw Georgia back into the game while also making mistakes. I think the fact that Beck was able to keep that kind of confidence in his arm in a game he made so many mistakes in was interesting. If Milroe would of thrown 3 picks we all know Jalen wouldn’t of been trying to throw anything lol so these conservative narratives are funny to me. All Milroe could do once the run game was taken away was pass deep to Williams or to the tight end and Georgia was pretty much there on every catch in the second half. Wasn’t no damn conservative play calling 😂
Hold your horses there geniuses. You have probably two more games to decide the King part. As of right now you’re a Qb that throws the ball up for prayers and hopes it gets caught. Georgia will figure that out and make you do something different next go round. Let’s do a thought experiment here. Do you think that Alabama would/could have come back put in the same scenario as Georgia found itself in last night. The answer is no. Just be happy you got out alive.
This is the definition of wishful thinking. Georgia came inches away from giving Alabama the ball on the 30-yard line going in while already up 30-7. If that happens, it’s a complete drumming. That’s how close Georgia was to the blowout extending far beyond 2.5 quarters. If Georgia would’ve won, you wouldn’t be saying “hold your horses, guys… we’ve got two more games before anything will be decided. We can’t say anything to them yet.” You just want everyone to wait in hopes that you don’t have to hear it until your team gets another shot. That’s not how this works, and you know it.
