The DF95 Invitation on the Gold Coast 30 June 2019 was a large single fleet event composed of sailors with only one previous competitive event held for this class in Queensland. Ten races were video recorded.
We decided to explore the relationship between rounding the first mark and success overall on the Regatta. There is no mystery about the importance of a good start in any form of sailing but why not get some numbers on it?
