They are cowards and monster parents! Handle your kids yourself instead of cowardly force the police to come and do what they usually do!
These cops are held to impossible standards. This is not Law and Order. We cant write the outcome we want. The streets are filled with unstable people like this who are often armed and unpredictable. Before i met my wife she was beaten almost to death by a homeless guy for making eye contact with him. The same man had been arrested and released for this same offense previously. At trial the judge stated the man was calm enough to appear at trial, was obviously back on medication and could thus be released without prison time. That is not an isolated example. Prosecutors today who are almost exclusively democrat in democrat run cities do not prosecute violent crime. Instead they persecute the cops who are forced to re arrest the same violent people over and over. This is why most cities are thousands of officers short. Nobody wants to take a thankless job where they are scrutinized and investigated more than the repeat offenders who are destroying these comunities.

I understand the possible danger... But shooting the guy in the back THREE times with an AR-15 seems excessive. Especially since in the full video you can't see him pointing the pistol at officers... Only himself. So... Make your judgements based upon that information.
I’m pro cop but these guys messed up big time. I’m not a lawyer but where was the probable calls? They went after him because they thought he had a stolen gun? The use of deadly force is when deadly force is applied to you. This guy did not point the gun towards them. To say the barrel pointed at them and that is why they fired is never going to hold up in court. Again I am 100% pro police and military, but this was not justified in my opinion and experience. These cops F’ed up big time.
" I’m not a lawyer" Well, that much is obvious. :) "probable calls" It's "probable cause", but all they actually need is RAS (a lower standard) to detain him. They certainly had that. The parents' reported that he likely had a stolen gun, which would be a felony (important later). "The use of deadly force is when deadly force is applied to you." No, it isn't. First, you do not need to wait until someone applies deadly force against you before you can use deadly force to protect yourself, you only need to be reasonably in fear that it is imminent. (see Idaho statute 19-202A) Second, the standard is "death or serious physical injury" in Idaho. And third, police can legally use lethal force to prevent someone from escaping when that person is suspected of a felony and poses a threat of death or serious physical injury to the officer or other persons. (see Idaho statute 18-4011)
There is no forthcoming indictment from the Ada County Grand Jury. The civil suit will be shown to be groundless and it will fail. This is Idaho and the parents were aware of the possible outcomes. Also from the Prosecutor's office: "Officers were familiar with Banach, who had a history of illegal drug use and was a suspect in several different property crime cases, including reports of theft from his family’s home in Star." The family own this.
Having never heard of this incident before, and this video being the only information I have readily available, with these caveats in mind, I believe that in what I'll call the parking lot scene there is reasonable doubt that the cops were not justified in using force and thus they should be acquitted if tried. However, I also believe that the parents may very well have a litigable claim for negligence insofar as law enforcement officers are seen and heard on their own body cameras permitting their son to leave while armed with a deadly weapon. That was a situation that should have been dealt with in the backyard scene. So Cops 1 Parents 1?
Absolutely a bad shoot. This is only one of hundreds I've seen and only three were at question so I'm very pro police that do a horribly difficult job today. We don't know if the gun was loaded. I've seen police fire a hundred shots answering just one call at Walmart's, neighborhoods, banks or down town city streets and was amazed no collateral damage because clearly no one cared one bit where the missed rounds were going. You can talk him down is a high percent try. Yell for the other person to get back in the house as I've seen many times. Less lethal is an option at times or dog. Killing a person not trying to harm others when they have mental issues means cops can shoot half the population in America our people are so drugged up, drunk or mentally out of it. I think the police did wrong here and 5 rounds proves it. FIVE frigging rounds toward that very house is OKAY, when his one round means death to himself. They do that so no one survives to go to court. I feel so badly for the guilt the parents have to endure all their lives. It has to be terrible.
No they shot because he turned the gun. Now it was pointed at officers. Would you play Russian roulette? Probably not. So the argument “it might not be loaded” is asinine.

Shame on this family blaming the police, pathetic. Always an armchair quarterback. They should have handled it if think they know what should have been done.
CLICK BAIT! THEY DO NOT SHOW THE SHOOTING! REPORT THIS POST
If that’s not a load of shiz…he rotated his hand backwards?…they had released him …he was good to go…the pointing at his head was a mistake..
Family layers saw pile of money...
Where did those rifle rounds go??
When you call the police, you are asking the government to exact violence on the person you are complaining about.
Spoken like a true Democrat retard.
Hahaha soo his parents thought he was a danger to them because he was high on drugs with a gun then they get mad that the police do something about it after THEY call on him.... apple didnt fall far from the tree with this one
Wait buddy.. you can’t self inflict damage. Let us police do it for you. Instead of one flying bullet you got have 5 flying bullets. Nice work.
Seems the parents are a little mental also. No such thing as nonlethal going up against lethal. I'm sorry for your loss but your son wanted it to turn out this way.
So pint the gun and shooting yourself triggers danger because the bullets can travel more than 50ft. So how many of the gun fired bullets killing him hit the homes in the direction of the day care. Just calling it like I see it.
So the cops shot him in the back as he held the gun to his head. These cops are gonna have a panic attack and piss their parents when facing real danger and criminals.
Yes they was in the dam Wrong He wasn't gonna hurt no body but himself & What happened to a officer Talking him out of the gun ? OMG !!!!!
well since there's a FEMALE cop he should have gave up to her
It’s weird this didn’t make national news. I wonder why.
Because national news is just as brain dead as you are.
We wanted to SEE IT. Thumbs down.
So they let him leave the house with a gun then shot him for having a gun?
They forgave themselves for executing a man who wanted to die.
Execution would have been shooting him in the head. Which they didnt. Go back to school retard.
Wow! So hard to tell if he is Annie Oakley. It seems like he might shoot an officer through his 'own' head, and he may need help somehow...Pop, Pop, Pop, Pop, Pop... those five shots should help. No wonder people distrust the police.
No wrongdoing.. was anyone actually surprised?
Why even waste nine months and release an “edited” video?
So is Jeremy going to be going into rehab? Now the family doesn't have to worry about their son breaking into their residence anymore.
People that have mental health problems or addictions have rights, and can refuse to go or sign themselves out, unless it was court ordered.
Yes that’s correct, but if you have mental health problems or issues you are banned from having any type/sort/ kind of weapons. Because you may cause harm to yourself or others.
I'm not defending the guy's character but this whole fookin story is fishy ASF!!
Boo hoo, our son waving a gun around saw the consequences of those actions so now we're going to play the game "Shoulda, coulda, woulda." The cops SHOULDA done this. They COULDA done that instead. We WOULDA done that had we known. Deal with it yourself then next time. You couldn't handle it, you called for help, and your son escalated it till it ended where it did.
When a government employee executes a citizen for any reason the video must be released immediately or suspicion will arise.
Ahh, yet another retarded democrat in the comment section. All of you retards are saying he was executed. He wasnt by the way, seems like all of you need to re learn what that actually means. Doubt you will though.
And if you think this is really that bad.... why arent you protesting about the rampant drug and sexual abuse happening in California that the " government employees " arent doing anything about? Oh wait.... you wont do that either will you?
You can either have "instant" OR "justice". NOT both. Sorry the world doesn't conform to your silly standards, but a little bit of knowledge about ballistics and science can go a long way in explaining complex actions... but it takes time. You want it right, or do you want it right now? Pick one.
@@thomream1888 You must be a young person. I remember when we had a free and public press. Eye witness news was a van that drove around with a police monitor inside. Tapes were rushed to the station. Any reason to censor the news negates a free and public press.
The officer killed this person to prevent him from committed suicide. Also, backstop rules do not apply to law enforcement, only civilians.
This explanation of events was horrible
But shooting him five time wasn’t dangerous at all
The parents are suing the police when they called them that’s like complaining that your subway sandwich was all wrong when you told them how you wanted it step by step 😅
Not even close
Those Parents who called the cops for their son at the first place are garbage parents who got their son killed! They deserve the worst among other parents that do the same to their children! They are cowards and monster parents! Handle your kids yourself instead of cowardly force the police to come and do what they usually do!
Justified!
so what ur saying is him puting gun to his own self thay thot thay help him and kill him y not let him do it hiself
They got him killed
Mom and dad want some money for their bad parenting
Another video of “he’s trying to kill himself let me do it for him” 🤦♂️
These cops are held to impossible standards.
Somones hoping for a big payout !!
another person who bullets could go through his own head and kill other people but the cops bullets can't and don't they just stick to your body, yeah right
So - If Jeremy's ONE shot directly into his own head could have continued and been a RISK to civilians why wouldn't the 5 shots of an adrenalin pumped cop from 20-30 feet away be of MUCH greater risk??
That's about as irrational as "He was about to take his own life, so we killed him!" or "He was about to take his own life, and that's OUR job!"
right what if one of those 5 bullets didn't hit Jeremey and hit the bystander or a kid in the house police should be charged. Secondly why cant one officer have a less leathal that they could've shot Jeremey with. a lot officers could've done. everyone knows someone on some drugs and is high is gonna be unperdicable and frisky. not an expert but if that cop who started it all had come up to him with maybe a " hey jeremy can we talk " while hand on the holster just in case wouldve been different than " drop the gun" and why not wait for a back up unit so 2 people can work to get the gun out his hand even 3. why on his own go for the gun. guy who's high and frisky not a good idea that first cop and all other cops need to be charged for dangering the public. what if that gun went off while the officer was trying to get it and hit a bystander watching
Smart @ss Playing Gun Game's. OK You Win Free Lead.
O well
Killer cops strike again
Why make a video on something that your not going to show the video of 🤷♂️
What a joke
And black kids are killed everyday that don't have guns! What does that say?
Failed Parents trying to get some easy money 😂😢 Pathetic
Sad.
Imagine police allowing a Black man high on illegal drugs walk away ARMED?!?!?!?!
Had to add "black man" . Really? like that makes any difference. It doesn't matter if you are Purple , white , black, yellow. It's all the same. WE ARE ALL HUMANS
@@royalvibes4433 obviously white of you

I understand the possible danger... But shooting the guy in the back THREE times with an AR-15 seems excessive. Especially since in the full video you can't see him pointing the pistol at officers... Only himself. So... Make your judgements based upon that information.
They could have used non lethal options..
The only way to stop a person with a gun is with another gun just look at the Tennessee trans terrorist
"probable calls" It's "probable cause", but all they actually need is RAS (a lower standard) to detain him.
Suicide by cop... job well done. Best way to do it .
Ya well it sucks but parent's gonna have live feeling responsible. 1000 ways to help someone on drugs and they choose to call the cops.... SMH
So Cops 1 Parents 1?
oooooo ok yes i do understand now they killed him before he killed him self!! Ok yes that makes scents now 😀😃😄😁😆😅😂🤣
They should all be fired and chraged.
How many times do you need to shoot a person?
Thx 4 taking out the trash
They talked to him for FIVE hours dingus
You'd be the same person crying if he shot somebody and crying why didn't they shoot him earlier. He was a threat to the public plain and simple.
You think a crazy suicidal guy brandishing a gun should be allowed to walk around a neighborhood? lol good thing you're not a cop, you have no clue how to recognize a threat. You'd get yourself or your partner killed with your TV show training.
@@101Navyseals Well thanks for calling me names so I can tell just what your level of education is and what kind of human being you are.
Where did you find that they talked to him for 5 hours? I didn't see or hear that.
He had a gun, you can see the gun, clean shoot
Total incompetence
The lies they tell
a self inflicted gunshot might go through him into a house 50 ft away? yet its ok for them to fire 5 times towards other homes and people? interesting logic or maybe another way to say it would be illogical .
