What really pisses me off about rocksteady in suicide squad is that they don't realize how evil harley really is, and yet they treat her like she's some hero.
I believe they wanted to go for the more modern depictions of Harley as a crazy anti-heroic character, especially since the game is much more light-hearted than the other Arkhams. So they tried to capitalize on Harley's popularity power and follow the idea of the Squad having a funny, zany aura. Problem is that this Harley is possibly the most villainous version (the only one worst than this is in the Gods and Monsters universe where she's a Jason Voorhees/Leatherface-like serial killer). The things she's done in the Arkhamverse are just horrific (the Seagate Amusement Park thing is simply disgusting). In short they literally ignored what has been done and made before in their own universe.
I do 100% agree with u but its heavily implied that Harley Quinn is obsessed with joker and does anything to please him. With the joker long dead Harley probably became somewhat more sane I mean suicide squad takes place 5 years after Arkham knight
@@cosmiccock I think the idea was already kind of there in Arkham Knight, although more subtle. In previous games, Harley was dangerous more because she was crazy than anything else. In Arkham origins you can find out that Harley when she was Harleen Quinzel, was already corrupt from the start, since she worked for Hugo strange and did dirty work for him. She also seemed to already have some sadistic traits. Joker was the trigger for her to go from just corrupt to fully evil.

"Only You (And You Alone)", commonly shortened to simply "Only You", is a 1955 song recorded by the American vocal group The Platters. The song was later featured in the 2011 DC video game Batman: Arkham City, where it is sung by the Joker on an answering machine shortly before his death. The song plays over the game's end credits. The Batman: Arkham City version was performed by the Joker's voice actor Mark Hamill. The song later appeared in the 2018 video game Far Cry 5, as the theme for Jacob Seed's estate of Whitetail Mountains and on his music box. Lyrics: Only you can make this world seem right Only you can make the darkness bright Only you and you alone Can thrill me like you do And fill my heart with love for only you Only you can make all this change in me For it's true, you are my destiny When you hold my hand I understand the magic that you do You're my dream come true My one and only you Only you can make this change in me For it's true, you are my destiny When you hold my hand I understand the magic that you do You're my dream come true My one and only you

If Simon has the least visited area covered then why would Batman go there? So it makes sense Batman would not be in the area because of Simon having it covered already.
Also you can see Johnny charisma being advertised bellow scarecrow while he’s doing his speech at the beginning of the game, and a conversation about Christina bell in the diner
Arkham Origins, Penguin's ship - there's no way the layout of the interior of the ship fits inside the actual boat. That predator room has a large broken glass ceiling, exposed to the night sky/weather, yet that feature cannot be seen from the outside of the ship. Same thing with Lacey Towers. Roman Sionis' apartment has a balcony with an open door, yet there is no such balcony on the exterior of the smaller on the outside building. I still like Origins best out of all the Arkham games, though.
5:10 Baudelaire is also known writer in our world - he wrote ""Flowers of evil". There even exists an anime with the same name Aku no Hana (but I only recommend it to those who like strange animes / romance.)
13:48 the Lazarus we take is a purer source because Ras took too many baths in his own Lazarus pit, which make him slowly lose his mind. Ras' pit isn't destroyed, it just doesn't work on him anymore.
16:56 I doubt they were talking about Dr. Young, specifically, seeing as origins takes place roughly 10 years or so before asylum. Don’t get me wrong, the same logic applies to what she did, but there’s no way she was working with the joker this early. Especially considering the asylum wasn’t even reopened yet. Sure she could’ve done terrible things beforehand, but I think this refers more to people like the Mad Hatter
The most disturbing detail is that since everyone on the Stagg airships are dead, the monkeys will die due to lack of food because they are still in cages. Edit: Batman even frees all the bugs in the ship, but still abandons the monkeys.
I always thought the line about scientists turning them into monsters was a reference to Hugo strange since that’s what he originally did in the comics
Do you guys ever watch these videos thinking how proud the developers of Rocksteady would be if they were to watch these kinds of videos and watching us slowly locate every single detail they added?
It’s so unbelievable to me that the ROCKSTEADY that came up with all of these awesome, fascinating, cool details, is the same rocksteady that brought us KTJL… Anyway, fantastic video as always, keep it up man, love your work.
One thing I disagree with is Poison Ivy’s shop. It’s revealed in a story in Arkham City that the Baudelaire was opened by Ivy when she was going to change her ways and reform. She did pretty well at first but then more and more people started to mistreat plants and she snapped and went back to her old ways. That’s why there’s a bunch of plants coming out of the shop and why it’s closed. It didn’t really have anything to do with the scientist that mistreated her.
On the term of the lazurus pits. they sit all under gotham. in the comics theirs a bigger pit underneath wayne manor, and we constantly hear how the lazurus come in purer forms or different forms than just Ra's one pit
"Mother, a word that means a corpse to me. Happy Mother's day mommy!" Shit, he definitely is wild. Might give Joker a run for his money in the senseless evil category. 😮

I love your arkham content bro
I wish they made a new arkham game and not suicide squad
The details in these games are unparalleled, everyone behind the game put so much effort and care into them
"Only You (And You Alone)", commonly shortened to simply "Only You", is a 1955 song recorded by the American vocal group The Platters.
Lyrics:
Only you can make this world seem right
Only you can make the darkness bright
Only you and you alone
Can thrill me like you do
And fill my heart with love for only you
Only you can make all this change in me
For it's true, you are my destiny
When you hold my hand
I understand the magic that you do
You're my dream come true
My one and only you
Only you can make this change in me
For it's true, you are my destiny
When you hold my hand
I understand the magic that you do
You're my dream come true
My one and only you
Bro these games are awesome and gold quality, they are a bit old but you still gives me excitement for the future of rocksteady with how much details they put into those games, another thing is that i am confident that the future rocksteady will be great because if they don't do batman after ssktjl i have no idea what they will do,so yeah your videos are great 💯
The fact you dont capture Calender Man in Orgins was a big oversight
The ninth one, I think, could also fit Stagg. His partner says Stagg won't tell him where the subjects came from.
If Simon has the least visited area covered then why would Batman go there? So it makes sense Batman would not be in the area because of Simon having it covered already.
Poison ivy gotta be a freak fr
Also you can see Johnny charisma being advertised bellow scarecrow while he’s doing his speech at the beginning of the game, and a conversation about Christina bell in the diner
You will be as one... basically Bruce dies, his "mask" dies. He becomes batman full time, his whole persona now is batman and batman alone.
13:58 Subtitles lmao
You did an amazing job on this video man
I hope you can get to 100k, good luck!
13:20 hey, i see the word "baddies" right there, u can't hide from me
13:58 HEY, I SEE ANOTHER ONE
(not judging u, I agree with ur opinions)
The most disturbing detail is that since everyone on the Stagg airships are dead, the monkeys will die due to lack of food because they are still in cages.
Edit: Batman even frees all the bugs in the ship, but still abandons the monkeys.
I doubt it that game only happens for a single night. After that night the government or even gcpd could have seized the place
Can someone please tell me the name of the background music in this video??
Metroid Prime 2 - Torvus Bog Subterranean theme!
@ omg thanks @GothamPaladin can’t believe you replied 😂❤️❤️ really appreciate it, I really love your Batman Arkham details/easter eggs videos 🫶🏾🩵🩵🩵🩵
Nice reference to the Arkham subreddit by calling joker jonkler
I always thought the line about scientists turning them into monsters was a reference to Hugo strange since that’s what he originally did in the comics
Mom Gotham paladin dropped
Do you guys ever watch these videos thinking how proud the developers of Rocksteady would be if they were to watch these kinds of videos and watching us slowly locate every single detail they added?
Late comment, but what's the background music you're playing while talking? It's very dark and eerie and I love it, honestly
It’s so unbelievable to me that the ROCKSTEADY that came up with all of these awesome, fascinating, cool details, is the same rocksteady that brought us KTJL…
Anyway, fantastic video as always, keep it up man, love your work.
Same guy who wrote the previous games too
A lot of the people from the studio left during production of KTJL, including the co-founders
It’s not the same full team just the remaining bits
Except it's not
Literally the Theseus ship embodiment
post more of this it's really interesting
What’s the dark music in the background?
if arkhamverse was a series i think calendar man deserves his episode with his stories
I really appreciate the Torvus Bog Subterranean theme in the background, Paladin.
You just earned a sub duder :)
7:46, if you were to pause it, it would have the faint scar of the joker branding that was put on him.
No shit, Sherlock
One thing I disagree with is Poison Ivy’s shop. It’s revealed in a story in Arkham City that the Baudelaire was opened by Ivy when she was going to change her ways and reform. She did pretty well at first but then more and more people started to mistreat plants and she snapped and went back to her old ways. That’s why there’s a bunch of plants coming out of the shop and why it’s closed. It didn’t really have anything to do with the scientist that mistreated her.
Topic of vanishing: maybe it’s doctor young or maybe it’s Hugo strange testing his mind control he could be learning at the moment
So good man, thank for the vid
Is that lower brinstar theme?
I love these types of videos hopefully we can get more
On the term of the lazurus pits. they sit all under gotham. in the comics theirs a bigger pit underneath wayne manor, and we constantly hear how the lazurus come in purer forms or different forms than just Ra's one pit
"Mother, a word that means a corpse to me. Happy Mother's day mommy!" Shit, he definitely is wild. Might give Joker a run for his money in the senseless evil category. 😮
or it could be the people that kidnapped people that got a job or were homeless. anyone remember batman the animated series in that one episode called “the forgotten”
9:03 One of my favorite story’s
I got a call from my mom at 10:33 💀
Why does it matter
@@inkedthedemon because he’s talking about killing his mom
