Personally if Dyche goes I wouldn’t mind if Everton was to go to to Coventry and say “Here’s what we offer you for Mark Robbins” and get him in. I actually think Robbins could suit Everton and he has done an absolutely remarkable job at Coventry being there for 7 years, getting them up from league 2 to the championship, playoff final, FA Cup semi final, with minimal spend too. It was Also Robbins that spotted Victor Gyokeres who wasn’t getting a game at Brighton, brought him in, now look what he’s doing at Sporting everyone’s raving about Gyokeres now, and I think a lot of credit goes to Robbins for that, for bringing him into Coventry. I think he’d be a good shout I also wouldn’t mind Potter either but I do think Robbins does feel like he actually suits the fabric of Everton more but only question is the fact he already has a club
It’s a really bad record but let’s be honest- it’s also a really bad squad. Still relying on the likes of Seamus Coleman at the age of 35 to get up and down the right wing. Selling the likes of Gordon and Richarlison and trying to replace them with bargain basement alternatives. Theres only a couple of worse squads in the Prem. if Dyche keeps you up again it’s job done.
Dyche has to go. His win rate is appalling. Everton’s squad isn’t great but it’s no worse than any of the clubs that have come up from the Championship, or Wolves for that matter. Taking 2-0 leads in 2 games, and 1-0 against Leicester, and not winning any of them is disastrous. Dyche can’t even get them to defend properly
It makes sense to sack Dyche before his contract ends, simply because it will allow the new manager to assess the squad prior to next season. Also, if results don't pick up, he'll have to go anyway. Though I'd imagine they will pick up soon once the defence is back from injury (Mykolenko, Branthwaite and Patterson). The only argument against that is financially it's better to simply run Dyche's contract out and let him leave in the summer. Which is fine as well. It just depends on what happens over the remaining part of 2024 and how ambitious the new ownership is. Either way, Everton should finally be heading in the right direction. The question is, who leads the way?
Sadly there is no point of takeovers anymore. The PL wont allow clubs to spend money anyway. We've put ourselves in a position where a decent player costs £40m + so Everton could buy 3 players and already be touching FFP guidelines. They have hardly any players worth any money apart from Jarrod and perhaps Dominic. SO sure they could sell them but then be back to square one anyway.
The new owners have just more or less cleared their 500m of debt though. That means revenue can actually be reinvested in the squad and on new players rather than paying off loans. The new stadium also means they will gain an additional 60m a season in commercial revenue which increases their PSR limit by 180m over the three year accounting period. Agreed though with PSR it makes no difference whether your owner is worth 5 billion or 100 billion. Moshiri was not willing to spend a penny of his own money at Everton though so this will make a huge difference to the club.
And thank god clubs can’t continue to spend and get our beautiful historic clubs in financial trouble. 100 and odd years of heritage shouldn’t be put in the hands of American or Asian business that couldn’t care less. And some domestic owners leave a lot to be desired as well.
Dyche doesn't help himself tho ...poor tactics poor style of play the constant selection of his mates Keane young Harrison when there's better options on the bench..these new owners wont accept this ..fact Hopefully the new owner comes in and stops this signing of old finished players or the giving of new contracts out to declining ones
I wouldn't be surprised if they sacked him...i wouldn't personally as he's out of contract at the end of the season and i think he's the best manager to keep us up this season and who knows maybe with a couple of January signings he might be capable of earning a new deal.
Simon Danny understand what your saying but he’s not helping himself some of his decision making is poor to say the least he is very stubborn but he has cost us at least 2 games so fat this campaign he is poor at making decisions to effect the game that is right in front of him his managerial experience at the top end of the division is very limited as he has not been there before he has a skill but not for Everton

Dyche did well to keep is up, but his football is boring and he doesn't have any kind of aura. Granted we have had to sell due to mismanagement, but he won't be kept on is my feeling.
Which Everton legend can they employ to throw under the bus when they fail? Big Dunc? Rooney? There’s no legendary player who’s a good enough manager. And no Arteta doesn’t have legend status , but sure would like him on, but I guess that bus has moved on.
Sean Dyche doesn’t know how to get the best out of good players and plays a terrible brand of football. Giving him more resources would be a waste as he’d just stick with the players he trusts like Keane and Harrison
Moyes to come back. Big mistake from west ham getting rid IMO, and moyes is slight adjustment from dyche and could get a tune out of the existing squad as this side are miles away from a manager who wants to play total football. I think moyes is a great gap for a year or 3 as they try to transition
Did it hurt Arteta's feelings? Did Arteta and most nay all players say worse to opposition players? or sometimes their own players? loool. enough of the woke BS. it was NOTHING. he didn't abuse his nationality or religion! there is a LINE in dissing fellow players and managers!
Dyche is a great manager, however football has well and truly moved on in relation to his playing style. In saying that he’s done a decent job at Everton all things considered, it’s a tricky one.. The squad is pretty dreadful, I think getting relegated would be a blessing in disguise, a genuine rebuild would be more than ideal for the club.
@@Donald-f2rwith the new owners won’t be as much of a disaster as the club are financially stable now with no debt. Under Moshiri it would’ve meant financial oblivion.

Dyche has kept Everton in the Premier League twice. That's as much as can be expected without resources.
Any other manager would of gone with the record he's had with us ok he kept us up last season but 5 wins in 36 is not acceptable for any manager
Everton have in the past been too slow to get rid of their legends. I think Friedkin will be a breath of fresh air.
