I would highly recommend getting a Yokomo YD-2 which you can get at vertexrcusa.com. The yd2 dominates the rwd rc drift world

If you flip the gearbox like you did, dosent the motor spin the wrong way?
it does spin backwards so you have to either reverse the motor direction or add another idler gear

i ordered a mts fmx 2.0 chassis and pro electronis combo. what battery specs do u recommend?
typically everyone runs 2 cell li-po batteries. usually 5k mah 100c

toe arm length im not too sure but my front toe is slightly out

depends on what kind of chassis but 1200 for a fully upgraded running car is not a bad deal
