Hello Love: If you breathe that "bead dust" you'll end up unable to breathe - either gemstones or glass. To save your drill bit, drill beads under water which will alleviate the dust and save your drill bit. Also, you should be using a liquid grinding solution to aid in drilling that also extends the life of your drill bit. Please, if you don't use water, you MUST wear a mask to prevent lung disease. Thank you so much for the video. I drill my own bead wholes too because they are always too small.
thanks for posting this! i dont make jewelry, but i am making a few plant wands with beads. the rondelle beads fit over the threaded rod but bead selection is limited and expensive. i bought a bunch of strung beads at joann in anticipation of making holes bigger. i was going to use drill but this will be easier. i have the exact dremel u r using so i appreciated coming across this video.
Thank you, I was just talking with my hubby about using my dremel for the same thing but for spacers that were too small 😊. Im off to harbor freight for some drill bits. Thx again 🥰👍🏽
Please share the link of there you bought the dremel and also the Diamond bits.. your dremel looks powerful. I’m looking for one like the one you have.. the dremel I’m using Isn’t as powerful as yours. Thank you
Thank you for the video making my mom a necklace for her bday and I have a dremel I usually use to polish my crystals. But my beads are too small for my cord and I know she would love these beads I have. I was stuck trying to figure out should I do something else but ima try this instead. Thanks again for sharing.
I never heard of reaming until this and I already own a small dermal I just need the bits thanks soo much it’s and awesome video. I wonder what would happen with regular bits used for concrete

Hi I was wondering if the dremel bits would work for enlarging holes instead of the ones you got from Harbor Freight.
What tool do you use for holding your bead
Thank you so much..🙏
I've been using a drill and a hand drill .. my hands hurts...
Been trying to find bits that cut through glass acrylic beads. Regular bits don’t work
