Even to serve, we need wealth. This is the reason why a lot of criticisms comes to the churches as well, attacking on the favouritism of the church towards wealthy families or individuals. Actually it is a form of asking for help to keep the church alive. They cannot ask money from the poor being financially vulnerable which is a fact. So this is the principle logic behind the ideology of the charity works done by the churches. I should say the rich are not giving enough to the church because of greed.Needless to say but a book to digest and wonder. Only when the church and the pastors show gratitude and respect to the elites then they are touched or moved by their treatment or kindness of the pastors or deacons. And on the other hand these people are those who are always busy or engaged in something or the other so they don't make time for God, so again this is also in a way, an effort of the pastors and deacons to give councilling,minister, and preach the word of God to the big shots in our society. The bible tells the rich to give to the poor and help the needy, so being a christian one ought to follow this or else, is one even a believer or can one truly claim that the blessings of being wealthy, having a good life and a family is a blessing from the Almighty God?Are you even qualified to make such big statements?
