I have a similar story I met some guy called javaunmessent ( that was his steam name ) idk how I still remember it, I met him in rust and then someday my dad saw I had randoms added on steam so he told me to remove everyone so I had to remove javaun I only have one recording left of him of me and him playing dirty bomb but I think it's gone now. I had texted him once on discord in about 2018 because my dad didn't know about discord every couple of months since about 2015 I had texted him and then that day he replied hey, I was so happy I could've cried I didn't really have many friends in school at that time so he was the closest thing to a friend I had I said we haven't talked in ages and then he said yeah I know then I said wanna play rust again and then I didn't hear from him again. I think he deleted his accounts because I tried looking up his old steam name and his discord was yellow so I looked at all the yellow default discord profile pictures but all of them were people I didn't know or deleted users. I really do miss him, if you ever read this javaun add me on discord my name is Ish ye Boy Jesus#1466 I know you won't see this but I just hope that someday we will talk again and play rust again your probably out of school right now since you were way older then me when we played but I hope we can play just one more time.

This is probably the best rust video I've ever watched. It reminded me of the first time I played Rust. It was simular to this, and I probably know why Asad left your team. My first 10 hours of rust was me roaming around, aimlessly, and I would do what asad did, ask to group or team. A guy by the name of ghost taught me how to play. To craft, research, items, airlock. We played for a while but one fight, after we killed a group of 4. Returned home. Dropped loot home and talked. Short while later we were raid. After I died when being raided, my pc crashed. Leaving the server can make you leave your team. Never saw ghost again, but I looked for a while and nothing. GG ghost. Hope you are doing well.

I remember on my first day on rust I went running around knocking on doors. Knocked on a compound and made a bunch of new friends. Ended up running countless wipes with that group and had such a good time learning about the game and getting to go on raids.

My first time playing rust, there were that crazy guy that taught me how to make a tower and snipe nakeds, He was really fucked up because i opened one of his boxes and it had skulls of people
i asked him why does he do this and he replied to me with one word, He was never treated kindly on this game and never made friends. He watched pro players from a far distance and betrayed so many of his comrads. And then kept on teaching me not to trust any one and how to build. Finally he looked at me in the face and said to me that my training was complete and droped me a knife. Finally telling me to try and kill him and i said no, Then pulling out his gun and telling me that i should have killed him to complete my ascension LOL. He head shotted me and then droped me from his team. 3 days later he was raided by an even more crazy people. That guy name was Munchy and i never saw him again.

I go on hunts for worthwhile Rust content to watch and the options have well and truly diminished since the old days. Ah Harry we meet again on some quality content
this reminds me when i first started playing, youtube videos, playing solo, dying over and over, losing materials, the worst time i had. I met some friends, asked for some help, invited me to their clan, biggest clan on the server, created bonds, friendships, what an experience. Will never forget it.
