3 You Tube channels got together and just went on a overnight in -0++ snow filled weather in Michigan USA. They had nothing
but praise for these tents, there was nine of them in two of the larger tents I am beyond impressed with them.

I have the up2 mini. It is perfect for solo camping tent. Its the best tent you could possibly ever own. If there was ever a "one and done" tent, it would be this one. Almost indestructible. It will litterly last longer than me. I've tested it in 40mph wind gusts and never moved an inch and never leaked with heavy rain. Extremely well made but very heavy. Summer months just run a few battery fans and all windows open and youre all set, but it truly shines in the winter and fall months. Ill never own another tent. Well worth the expensive pricetag.

Andy, You are so correct. After seeing so many positive reviews I actually purchased the UP-5. I don’t want to sleep on the ground or have to bend down and crawl in a tent or feel claustrophobic and cramped. These tents are roomy for your gear and cots and maneuvering around. The stove works so well for heat and cooking. I love my tent. I even have room for my queen size air mattress with gear when I camp solo. I hope this helps folks decide if they want one. I love camping with the stove in cold freezing temps. Thank you Andy and I am a huge fan of your channel here in Washington State USA.

The small vent near the floor behind the stove is for running a line from a propane tank stored outside when using a propane heater inside the tent. Most ice fishing tent have these.
I think it might also be used for a stove equipped to breathe outside air.
If I still had my bit of woodland, I would ALREADY OWN this beauty! It looks to be good for the long haul: set it up on a platform and live in the woods for weeks or months.
@THE DUDE totally depends where you’re looking. A more remote and less attractive plot might be £5,000 or £6,000 per acre and up to £25,000 per acre for somewhere like the South East where the demand is high and where good plots are rarer. So a big variation depending on size, quality, location, demand, etc.

It is an awesome tent, well thought out.
Tent tip: get a piece of patio carpet to put in front of the door. It helps keep mud, dirt etc. out of the tent. Especially if kids are involved, trust me on this one 😄

Hi buddy, you can use a pomoly stove but all of the pomolys have smaller diameter chimney so there would be a gap, some fire proof material could be used around the gap, ive seen someone do this in a video

Hi Andy, do you have to pay any import taxes when ordering from the RBM site?
I love everything about this tent it is very well made but not really practical for my weather in Florida depending on how much air flow I could get in the tent humidity here year round is a problem.
Oh god no, not for Florida at all.. though it might keep the gators out long enough for an escape ;)

Check out the site for pricing. In the United States, we can purchase this equipment through a Canadian firm. Pricing varies a good bit with the selection of options and with shipping distances. Think in terms of a yurt for price comparison. For individuals or couples who can tolerate simple living and living in each other's pockets, this could be way better than renting a conventional shelter option.

BUYER BEWARE!. While this guy says it's "bomb proof" the sliding mechanism design for this tent is defective and broke off in my hand on first set up. RBM's answer to fix this problem was to send me a replacement part that did not fit. Do not purchase!

We have a stamped concrete porch off our back door into the yard. I’d love to have one of these staked down with a wood stove on top of that during this current snow accumulation we’re getting in NE OH.

How does it handle in wind
Being an old git, who has problems bending down & difficulty getting in small tents, I love big tents, and this one seems ideal for winter camping. Plus the camouflage seems to fit in all types of environments from other videos I’ve seen of it. Great review and great channel 👍🏻
Glad you like it old git haha , is it easy too bug out quickly if your position was about too be invaded by enemy forces - how long do you think it would take to complete bag up and disappear my friend .

Excellent review video Andy 👍. Lonnie from Fare North Bushcraft, has had the same model. He absolutely loves it, 🤔 he's been using it for about year & a half now. I'm saving up 💸 now . As I hear, that they are. Planning on making a smaller version, almost like. A carp fishing dome tent, if it comes with the same layout & features as original. I will DEFINITELY get me one . As it's just Mr BEAR 🐕 & me.

Can the point loading of the legs of a chair, bed or other furniture penetrate, or otherwise compromise the ground sheet?
I had 4 of us in it at xmas with those chairs with no problems, its pretty hard wearing.
