I used to decorate A LOT! It generally took 2 weeks, but being retired, no one is really here, so I decorate a little. I do miss it though!
I can see me doing it slowly or cutting back a lot after I become an empty nester. Who knows maybe just a table top at my beach condo in retirement 🤣
As a RUclipsr for Christmas I decorate every room. Not just because of RUclips but because the Christmas season is just my favorite time of year. I like walking in every room and feeling like the festive vibes

Your colors are perfect for your bedroom.Yes, I put up Christmas trees in all my bedrooms. It just makes it so cozy at night with especially when the lights are on.🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄.

I just got home from a shopping trip to Hobby Lobby. I just had to have a few more decor pieces and thankfully they are still well stocked. Did you know you can take pets in Hobby Lobby? I took my little boy. People were impressed how calm he was sitting in the cart just looking around. Lol. Its good you husband isn't afraid of heights. Wow!! You are so good at decorating your trees and home. Everything looks pretty. 🌲❤️

It really is! Some thing so relaxing about the soft glow of lights.
I’ve done a larger slim six foot tree in my bedroom, and also a small twelve inch tree. My husband likes either one, but in the interest of keeping things super easy for myself this year, I picked up a “my Texas house” four foot tree at Walmart, and tiny bells with burgundy velvet ribbons to hang from it. No topper, no other ornaments.
I also ordered some burgundy sheets (which we can use all winter cause they’re solid color)- and a dark forest green blanket to go over our duvet. Also snagged a burgundy check barefoot dreams dupe blanket. No other decor, no other Christmas art. I’ve done garlands on the headboard and tv stand before, toss pillows, etc- and it’s just too much to clean up and put away after the holidays are over. I had a meltdown last year trying to put all the Christmas stuff away, so I knew it was time for a change.
It's true. It's nice when we go all out for a bit but it dies become too much after a while. I'm leaning towards more simple in our room like I did this year.

My sons have asked me to put a our pencil tree in their room...and you never guess what colour they want....blue!!! Love love yours...I want it lol ❤

I have a collection of vintage ceramic Christmas trees. I put a large one in my bedroom. I decorate my bathroom and kitchen too. And of course my living room. My Christmas tree is vintage too.

Jessie when we had a two story I never decorated our bedroom just the kiddos. But since we built our craftsman style one story I do put some decor in there. I either put a skinny flocked tree in there or a table top tree in a pretty vessel. Just depends on my mood. Mainly in the area where people would get a glimpse of if they passed our room. 🎄 I do add some small touches in the guest bathroom as well.
I bet that looks so pretty! I think the main reason I do decorate our bedroom is that the big window faces front and it's the only tree in the downstairs window that you can see from outside since our living room is in the rear of the house.

I really love it. I went with a slimmer tree so it doesn't feel as intrusive in there. It really adds ambiance inside plus that big window faces the road and add to the outdoor decor.

The blue looks amazing instead of the red. I love those 3 little trees in your powder room I decorate all over because I love this season my theme inside and out is reindeers and snowflakes my friends can't get over how much decor that's in loft (attic)

The music is hard!! Not much available to use that won't get me copyright strike so we all kinda have to use the same ones over and over every year from the same paid website. Someone could make a lot of money making copyright free Christmas music for us RUclipsrs. We'd pay big money!

Jessie, i'm nominating you for Christmas tree queen. Jesse being up there so scary. I only have one big tree that i decorate. and i only put a christmas throw in the bedrooms with a small lighted tree on the dresser. I only put a lighted tree in the bathrooms that it. But i love decorating my den and living room. Kitchen just touches here and there

When you change out your chandelier try to get one that is motorized so you can have it drop down for cleaning.

Love all the trees! The blue one in your bedroom is so restful. Just perfect! Also, like the kids tree upstairs. Perfect location with the big window. The initial ornaments and ones they have made over the years make it so special. I too like little touches of Christmas everywhere, including the bathroom. Your tree trio just inside the door looks so pretty with the tobacco basket. Also the the little touches on the counter.
I love getting up in the morning or coming home and having a happy holiday and cozy home.

Your bedroom tree is stunning! I did do a tabletop tree for a while. I do have a Christmas bedspread which looks nice. I definitely do my main bathroom. I have a long basket on the wall over the commode which I put in seasonal flowers. Also have a Christmas lamp and have holiday towels, have a sm. tree on the counter, hang pictures, I also have a shelf cubby over my antique clawfoot bathtub I put Santa's on it. At the bottom of the shelf I have 4 pegs and I have antique baby dresses hanging from them, which I keep up yr. long. I have never seen that done before and I think it gives my Victorian bathroom a unique touch, I also have a stained glass window which we inserted into the wall. In the daytime you don't need a light. Love all your trees!

I use cheap shaving cream to clean my light cover glass. You should give it a try.

Trees are gorgeous just one question do u not put a star or Christmas angel on top of your tree
I used to but don't anymore for a lot of my trees. I know weird. I do have a wicker star on top of my living room tree though.
