A friend of mine actually ordered from them and we were really surprised how small of a production run they're willing to make, even at the prices they set. He had like 200 metal clips or so etched and it only took like a month. What even more surprised me was that every single one was individually packaged... The kind of effort that takes would be impossible to get for that price here in Germany

Quick Explanation for anyone curious: Most QR Codes have some amount of parity bits contained within them, which is why most will still scan as long as you don't cover too much of it. When making QR Codes, some tools even allow you to specify the amount of parity information contained, at the cost of a bigger QR Code. The algorithm used to create parity data when the code is created is called the Reed-Soloman Error Correction algorithm. These are the levels of error correction: - Level L will correctly scan a code with 7% unreadable data - Level M will correctly scan a code with 15% unreadable data - Level Q will correctly scan a code with 25% unreadable data - Level H will correctly scan a code with 30% unreadable data.
Nice card! You're right about WeChat in China being so ubiquitous. In just a few years the entire business culture in so many industries shifted from presenting a physical card to offering your WeChat's QR code for them to scan.

at 5.30, are you sure they hetch the part, or you got shown the result of the process which would be the adding of a coat to the part that is not taped?
