This is wonderful. I still haven’t got in front of a crowd honestly I’m still learning but hopefully in the future. RUclips is wonderful for being right where you are and reaching so many people. That’s awesome you have toured. Jeff thank you for sharing this vital information. I understand why you don’t want sponsors because they are pushy with advertising I guess
I'm taking the cable tip. I already have the soldiering tools! Cables are crazy expensive so i might as well try making my own. Great video as always. Thanks Jeff❤
It's worth it. It's a little frustrating at first, but I'm kind of clumsy when it comes to working with things like wire and solder. After doing a few, you get the hang of it, and the parts are way cheaper than buying pre-made cables. You'll get it.
Thanks for this chat! I sing but I don't play. If I want to own a portable kb that others will play, what should I look for? I assume there is a tradeoff between portability and weighted keys. How many octaves are necessary? Will I need outboard processing? Thanks.
Most keyboard players would already have their own rigs, but if you really wanted to buy something, I can't recommend Nord highly enough. No sponsorships for me, but I have two Electros, and they're great.
Hi Jeff, I’m in a dilemma: I’ve had a nasty chest infection for some days with a gig on Saturday (4days hence). 1. Any different advice from the usual to help clear it 2. I’m praying for an end before the gig date, but should I save any voice I do have & refrain from rehearsing - relying on just previous experience ?
Sorry to hear all this. That's a tough situation to be in. If you can't cancel or reschedule, some drastic measure may be needed. I did this video awhile ago talking about just this subject. Check it out, and follow up with me in the comments. ruclips.net/video/cYaFaqBLv60/видео.html

I love more stuff like this to watch too Jeff.

I definitely need a new microphone that will pick up my voice, any suggestions
It really depends! I thought you had an SM58 though - that should serve for quite awhile!
Sir what is the name of your backside lamp
It's a lava lamp! Not sure of the brand!
