These videos gave me a completely different perspective on what it means to be a “working” or “full time” musician. Dope.

mike i would vote for you for president if i could. these videos are so fun, entertaining and informative. there's also such a humility and no-nonsense flavor running through them which is lacking in so much modern musician content. so many of these "day in the life" videos are heavily curated, there's always some angle; the guy is always trying to make himself seem busier or more successful than he actually is. this is just an extremely well done video of a dude Doing The Work, and i can't tell you how much i respect it.

Wow,Mike, you are such a busy young man. It amazed me how busy you are. It seemed like you were going to, go, going every minute of the day.
Your videos have inspired me to look into playing my drums to some jazz. I have never entertained that thought before, but watching you and listening to some of the songs you play, I think I told be fun.
I know absolutely nothing about jazz or jazz groups, but I am quite familiar it’s Pink Martini, so I might find some of their songs on RUclips and give it a whirl.
As far as what part of your video I liked the best, it was your recording you guys did on Wednesday. There were a few songs that I really liked. Oh, and I also like seeing all the great food options you came across.
Well,as always, thank you so much for taking your very valuable time to put this video out so we can enjoy you and what you do. Take care, Mike.❤️🙏👏❤️🙏🥰❤️

It wasn't bad, but I think the heaters in the studio are just too loud to operate while recording, and they are very much still getting the place set up in all aspects.

Hello Mike! Great video, again. Thank you so mutch for sharing your work and experience. I was wondering about your cymbal setup. What model and size is that ride you use all the time. You use it in the clips from the studio in this video. It looks unlathed and has a crispy and dry sound that I love.
Alle the best, keep on making Great content.
