I LOVE the expressions It fits SO well And I really love the idea with Evan falling in slow motion from the tree and with the back of everyone's heads on the other side of the windows it's really cool
What if he meant: "But every *son* doesn't rise." Rather than "sun". Of course we know he didn't and "son" isn't as relatable. But if you look at it through his life, his dad left which is part of why he's like this. I just feel like it's a perfect set up for "but every *son* doesn't rise" if you ever hear it that way. And the double meaning would create so much more symbolism.

If it wasn't for a few people in my life I would probably be in Connor's boat. I was very much an outcast and bullied and it just.. stopped me from wanting to do anything in school. It is something I ever really noticed until hindsight really hit. I never wanted to try anything, because I just didn't want others staring and giving people the ammo to just make me feel like crap even more. Thankfully by the time I got to 15/16 I was starting to get over and passed that. But still even now I haven't really progressed, I'm still anxious as hell about trying anything or even being around others in case they hate me too. What a song. Wonderful animatic.

Okay I just wanted to say because no one seems to have mentioned it but I love how in the end after that big crescendo where he’s calling for attention and just someone to wave back at him, when no one answers, I love that you show him shrink back into himself. It really fits the feel of the whole musical and I love it as much as it hurts me haha

Okay I just wanted to say because no one seems to have mentioned it but I love how in the end after that big crescendo where he’s calling for attention and just someone to wave back at him, when no one answers, I love that you show him shrink back into himself. It really fits the feel of the whole musical and I love it as much as it hurts me haha
