This man is straight up one of the most important figures in Trance music, yet he get's so little praise apart from Rush Hour! Everyone should check out his compilations & mixes he did with 00 Fleming back in early 2000s. Just a massive gold mine of absolute quality! I'm so glad seeing he got the chance to be featured on a mainstage for this!

Used to see him live almost every few weeks back in the early 2000's at SoCal clubs. Still remember the legendary LA Athletic Club set where he was spinning at the bottom of an olympic sized empty pool!

I had his cd from like forever ago and I listen to it still to this day. When I was like 5 my dad came back from Germany with a stack of trance music and his name was a big one when it came to getting that right song going on a drive with my dad. We always got weird looks, but me and him would always flaunt it. Need I remind y'all it was the year 2000 middle of kansas.

But then they get there....when your balls deep in this with the ac blasting leds strobing then what... mid way through I ask myself this question and explode dancing.... I've been listening to Pandora for about 10 years, and it was only recently Christopher's stuff started to be noticed by me on my channels. Not sure if Pandora just started playing his stuff or what, but I found I kept up-voting his tracks without even knowing it was him.

Been my favorite Dj / Producer , since the mid 90s. One of my favorite pieces of vinyl was Shedder, that track was my choice dance floor filler headed to take off.
Shredder and the wayback machine returns us to those heady days in the lates 90’s when Christopher Lawrence was signed to legendary Hook Recordings out of Aberdeen Scotland.
Christopher was the TRANCE GOD in Los Angeles for a long time. This dude has us moving and grooving - if the flyer had an Alien on it, you bet your ass Christopher was on that flyer. If you had his mix tape CONTACT, you'd know why he was playing all over. I remember a party at a Long Beach warehouse in the 90s where Donald Glaude just gave him praise because he had the crowd moving at a peak, and Donald Glaude was about to follow up with a set of breakbeat techno/house... how the hell do you up that energy!!!?? Damn, I miss those 90s parties. haha.

He has grabbed onto psy-trance and kinda stuck with it. Do yourself a favor and check out his older mixtapes and compliations. His mixtape Odyssey is how I was introduced to him. Still blows me away to this day. The track selection and programming done is top notch.
