I recently bought a PJ black. My first fender and I love it. I like that they are all a little unique. I really like the bridges they put on these models.
Well, I just found the bass of of my future as soon as I fill up my very thin wallet. I just saw it yesterday at my local Guitar Center store. That has to be the most beautiful and sleekest looking bass I've seen and heard. I think Fender hit this one out of the park. 👍

I have one of those white P-basses. I love it. Great cost/benefit, great material and workmanship quality = excellent sound!
By the way: Fender has also made a great job in this video, by letting an excellent musician just show the instrument and its sound, no other instruments in the way. The tone shown here is the real tone.
I have an older all black P/J Aerodyne bass and love it. Really liking that "California Blue",...may have to add it to my arsenal.

I have the white P Bass. I did not plan to spend that kind of money on a bass but it was extraordinarily beautiful and was worth it. It's a gorgeous instrument and I'll have it for the rest of my life. The sounds are fabulous and it is very easy to play.
How is the neck dive?
@@MaschinenKopf1998 I have a strap on it but I haven’t noticed and tendency for the headstock to want to sink to the floor. Overall it’s very comfortable to play.

@@MaschinenKopf1998I have the white P Bass and found the neck dive to be pretty significant. However, it was fixed after I added extra weight with strap locks and using a KLIQ strap. The addition of my wireless pack also helps. It is now pretty leveled and no neck dive issues after that.
Thank you for the detailed response! In the meantime I have learned to love smaller scale basses a lot. I'm sort of a one man band project and comfort and convenience are superb with a mustang bass! I hope someday there will be an Aerodyne Mustang, I'd buy instantly haha@@iGarcade

On the Fender homepage, for the P-Bass there are maple fretboards only. So what about this version with rosewood?
From what I've seen the white has rosewood, and the red and green have maple

Aside from the white, the Precision color choices are horrible. Why, Fender?? Yellow, Metallic Sunset...so many amazing finishes you could've chose from. P.S. Dolphin Gray would look AMAZING on a Precision.

A black headcap on a Hot Rod Burst bass is not matching!!!!!
Beautiful except for a few things, at least offer the AERODYNE SPECIAL PRECISION BASS in black with a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard at the bare minimum for another 300 bucks PLEASE give that option, that's the only TWO thing's really stopping me from getting one of these, optionally my full list "which I would do or have custom do" would be nice to make it black with white binding around the body, give it some more optional options like gold hardware instead of the chrome, give it a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard for extra range, keep the maple neck, give it active electronics 18 volts would be preferable for a lot of drive, steel frets, then it would be perfect, maybe even scoop out the last 4 frets on the g string so you can do some good bends, the ultimate metal machine, the one thing I never liked about fender basses is the lack of 24 fret models especially.... Literally would be perfect if it wasn't for the conservative design. I'd gladly pay 3000, 4000 to 5000 dollars for this bass with these features. I'd literally buy one just for the body if custom shop couldn't deliver... But really if you can make it black with a 24 fret neck, I'd buy it as is...

@@Farewelltokingz I'm speaking more to price point. MIJ fenders are great guitars. But I was hoping for a Mexican made model which had standard MIM quality but just an aerodyne. I own several guitars made in that factory and I love them all. Great playing instruments.
