Hi guys! This is better footage than the one I made before as that one was during the end of the race. Now, I would have liked to add the visual overlay during his incredible 100m world record...but the camera couldn't capture his feet clearly, because he was TOO FAST! Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy this video! Next week, I'll finally make his running analysis!
Very interesting. His leading leg stretches out, yet the point of contact with the ground happens later, after the leg has travelled all the way underneath his body.
The key to his speed, I believe, is the amazing push force he generates to propel himself forward, and far fewer strides with more air-time (look at the slo-mo part with the other sprinter besides him taking more strides than Bolt. That's his key, less strides, more air time, freakishly long legs, all help to cover more ground in shorter time). His form is bad to start, wastes energy by flailing his hands about...but makes up for it with sheer mid-run peak power & acceleration. Such a supreme athlete. Love him for what he has done for the sport...
Twizted Transistor wouldn’t keeping his arms still require more energy because you would have to stop them from moving which would change your focus into your arms instead on his legs. When they are like you don’t need a large amount of stamina in your arms keeping them still. I’m not the smartest but that’s just what I think
It's that simple. Usain's form was superior to everyone else's & he was so relaxed. This is the real reason why he was so much faster than everyone else. This is what in fact allow him yo use so much power in his sprinting. Just outstanding.
YES! He runs with such perfect ease. Running for Usain Bolt must be like being in deep meditation. He is so connected and you can tell. It shows in the way he is so confident. How every move looks like perfect ease. How he’s just floating through that field without even really trying. This my friend is what drawing power from thy God self really looks like 😍
Yeah, I agree! I really wish we could get a perfect front view to address that, but those are super rare because the camera man will probably get run over
Hi,I watched your video analysis for many times, It' s realy good. Can you tell me what kind of software tools are using to drew those lines on these video?
It took a lot of hard work on Mr.Bolts behalf inorder to achieve the accomplishments he aquired he devoted himself totally the ol cliche proof positive his blood sweat n tears n a few yrs n never look back 🖤💯
My running coach told me "You run with your arms not your legs". Once I actually understood that, my speed increased.and the ease of running was well .. easier. Also the creator forgot one thing - the ankle. You can see Usain doing it, you flip your ankle like you're swimming with flipper, flick it out for propulsion, that might only add 0.5% but over 100m that 0.5 % can add up to 1/2 metre
There's NO "push off" he uses hip extension to power the movement.. this is the most suitable mechanic for taller athletes or athletes with a long thigh and relativly short lower leg and upper body for running and vertical jumps/sprint starts.. if they try to "push off" the knee will extend much more than the hip and the force is not transfered.. sorry to say this but your analysis is totally wrong.. not trying to prove you wrong or anything like that.. just writing something that I wished I knew 30 years ago.. maybe it can benefit an athlete or a coach somewhere.. regards from Amman, Jordan
All the great sprinters use a lot of hips when they run. Watch Christian Coleman, his hip strength is ridiculous. It's where a lot of power comes from but also watch Usain & Christians placement of foot when they land. Their feet & ankles are very stiff which generates a lot of power from the ground. Key tp all of this is, strong & stiff feet & ankles & powerful & flexible hips.
He's flying but just touching ground to show he's running
😂😂
Lol
Yeah especially when it’s the lower leg view! Looks like the world is a treadmill spinning under them!!!
yup
💥
He moves his legs like continuous and vigorous whipping with amazing precision!!
Like continuous? What do you mean "like"? His legs do flow continuously!
@@BreuckelensFinest maybe continuous whipping..he tortures the ground as he runs haha
That must take a lot of years to perfect
"Being tall is a disadvantage in sprinting."
Usain:
It’s somewhat right actually

Yes my bro
How du cheetah feel then..
Everyone ones in the air when sprinting
Actually that's the seceret trick of sprint he never disclosed before.
@@akhilesh3809 yes bro
It's like he's jumping and flying at the same time.. What a gift
Damn,,, he runs faster then my internet connection !!
Copied comment
Not that surprising for me
Internet connection can’t run

But your connection is still faster than my crush's reply
Pushes off his toe when he runs heel barely touched the ground. Flawless technique
His consistency to run like that for ya to break down his whole technique is amazing ⚡️

I agree!
Great breakdown

His form at no point is bad
Crazy part ta seems effortless bt aggressive
I ran during my college, I experienced it like I was floating in air, it frightened me that I slowed down 😅
The Same thing also happened with me bro
Happened to me to run fasted than expected but I enjoied it
Helpful. Thanks

Plot twist : HE’S ACTUALLY FLYING!!!!🤯🤯🤯
Thanks you
Legend of Olympic 🗿🔥🔥
Very good
It's seems like he is going in air
He literally looks like hes stepping in the air
Look at that stride man 😨😱
He's literally flying
what a beast
Thx bro
The fact that he uses the head over foot technique assists because it means a lot of his propulsion comes from his core.
people are still analyzing his speed TILL THIS DAY
He is flying in the air
basically max(not literally) extension on every joint and straight forefoot landing
Yes, you said correctly
I’m fascinated by how vertically neutral the hips remain. Almost zero bounce.
thanks for giving me these running tips my best is 2.33
He literally floats
it is necessary to consider the mutual movement of both hips (reduction), then there will be a clear picture)

God bless you Usain bolt sir❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
All about the push

Nice

Man he is the fastest runner in the whole world!!!!!!!!!!!
Notice he starts to brings the knees up before the heel is butt kicking. Also not running on his toes.
He is bhopping like Counter Strike in real life
Long step 👌👌
I learned more physics than my high school
Just imagine if he didn't have scoliosis. 200m 18's for sure. Probably hit 29-30mph

when my teacher sprint me on 100m
Do they actually land with their toes first?! Thats crazy
look ma, no heels!

His heels don't even touch the ground, thats insane my feet would snap in half.
Being tall is disadvantage
Bolt: 6 ft 5 in

Super bro 🥚🥚🥚🍳🍳🍳

Main factor is breathing
Should we land heel or toe while sprinting??
mid-foot, otherwise you compromise your knees
Previously I blame his long legs 😂
I wasn't looking at Bolt, I am looking at the secong guy
Air Walker

Why does he looks like he is leaping. Using his long legs to stretch far and leap into the air
