It's been a few months since I discovered you and a day doesn't go by that I don't play one or more of your songs. You really brighten 😊 my day ! Thank you !
I never get tired of listening to your cover of Heart of Stone. Your voice and your guitar playing are really at the top in this interpretation! You look so happy singing that song and I'm sure your heart is not made of stone!
For me, à german guy, 70+, this french Lady, Margot was THE (!) music discover of the last year. Great interpretations of my alltime favourite songs especally of the 60s, often better than the originals. Thank you, Margot Manfred F
eddie palmer - i think it is because margot, unusually, has plenty reverb on her voice, instead of it being bone dry - the reverb seems to build her strut and make her vocal seem more powerful
Wow ! ❤
Toujours aussi agréable de passer par ici … Super !!!
So this song that you cover is absolutely fantastic, among the best i've heard in a long time, It goes straight to the heart, thank you Margot for making it, love you forever ❤❤❤❤❤
Hello Margot. This is very, very good, again. You keep getting better and better from song to song. I love this and I love you. Keeth would be proud of you. And Charlie and Bill and Brian.....and Mick, of course...
@@margotcotten Hi Margot, first of all Happy New Year! I have just checked this!. Congratulations!. I am also very much into the 70s era & culture. You really make us travel back in time!. Merci & Bravo :)
Aha, 'Heart Of Stone'! I remember where I was, and who I was with, when I first heard this song. That would be my older brother, and my earliest childhood friend, Jonathan. That was mid 60sish. Jonathan would later work for The Stones. My older brother got to know Keith Richards fairly well some years later. He used to play guitar with him at his house. Mr. Richards had a house rule when they played together: No Stones tunes. They played mostly old blues tunes (Howling Wolf, Muddy Waters, etc.), but one time, according to my brother, he started playing a Stones tune. That song was-'Backstreet Girl'.
So I called up my old girlfriend, Margot, Christmas Eve, after receiving a very nice Christmas card from her (with a big heart on the bottom), and, while talking to her, I'm holding my Keith Richards And Charlie Karp (my brother, who died last March of cancer) Memorial Coffee Cup, and I asked her, among other things, if she ever met Keith Richards. She said 'yeah'. My brother actually got a phone call from him between Thanksgiving and Christmas of 2018.
Anyway, I remember I was with Margot (not you, the other Margot) when I first heard this song: Nils Lofgren, from his first solo album; and the song is-"I Don't Want To Know." And then there is a song my brother wrote back in 1970, when he had just finished a short tour with Jimi Hendrix, for Buddy Miles' "Them Changes" album: "I Still Love You, Anyway."
Early Stones were great, Here is one I have always liked ruclips.net/video/qSwm05N1vl0/видео.html . You did Brian and Bill Justice and Charlie of course.
Margot, your music is not good for my hearing. When I listen in the headphones I cannot resist turning the volume up so it is LOUD. I particularly like the strumming of the guitars when all the other instruments are silent. What a glorious sound.

Sooo talented! Okay let’s raise the bar 😂😂🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧. I dare u to try “Hey Negrita” by the Stones. It’s on their “Black and Blue” album.
