Quick correction, Mammoths didn't go extinct 10,000 years ago. That's when the North American Columbian Mammoth did. the last Eurasian Wooly Mammoths didn't die out till sometime around 1700 BC. That's right, there were still mammoths when the Egyptians built the Pyramids. Think about that :)

I believe that if Wooly Mammoths were alive today, they could have either lost their wooly fur and/or have seasonal shedding periods where they lose the fur for the Spring and Summer and/or grow it back for Fall and Winter. Their migration routes would probably also change depending on the seasons like South for the Winter and/or North for the Summer months. I would like to see the scientists bring back the wooly mammoth someday and we can see how they actually lived along with humans and other animals. My boyfriend loves pre-history things like the dinosaurs and Ice Age animals, we are making an Ice Age film that is more accurate than the kid's film from the early 2000's since that is silly and ridiculous, but I know that it was to make people laugh. The woman narrator did a good job and I was surprised to hear a woman talking instead of a man, but maybe he is taking a break or not available at this time. I am looking forward to making the Ice Age movie with him if I can see him again at some point and hopefully I can if this virus goes away and/or if they create one of those shots for this COVID-19. Stay safe and be careful out there.
I'm just a little curious to know how do we know how there blood flowed?? Also how it was like antifreeze too. Back when we started discovering dino bones, we just knew they were hairless and looked basically like an iguana. Now we believe that they had feathers and we're probably warm blooded. I love reading theories and seeing what other people are thinking. But when you take a theory and basically say it's fact. Well then you leave yourself open to be criticized. Not saying that they don't know anything about the Wolly Mammoth, I think 1 was found intact in ice. Anyway have a great day. Peace out.
Actually not all dinosaurs were feathered, there is plenty of undisputed evidence that most dinosaurs were scally. There are only a relative handful of non-avian dinosaurs (ie dinosaurs that are not birds) that had or might of had feathers or 'proto-feathers' (the later we aren't even sure are what they are, with some scientists arguing they are sub-dermal structures using similar strutures found in monitor lizards as an example). Take for example velociraptor, there is no eviedence it had feathers or even proto-festhers (it used to be argued they had feather nodes on the arms, but those were proven to be the wrong shape, size and in the wrong place to be feather nodes), currently some scientists still think it had feathers but not because of any evidence in velociraptor finds but because they think it is closely related to dinosaurs with proto-feathers and less closely but still relatively closely related to dinosaurs with actual feathers (like micro-raptor) But it is still debated. Compare and contrast to the T-Rex, whose skin has been found fossilised and now we know for a fact it had scales (which due to closely related dinosaurs being found with the 'proto-festher' structues adds to the arguement that said structures might be sub-dermal structures)
In South India we traditionally respect elephants for their wit and strength. Asian elephants are quite smart, and some are even capable of doing simple math (seriously, not joking, they can count, add, and subtract). They are also social animals.
I believe humans should try to save the endangered species ( like elephants, for example) than to resurrect extinct animals like woolly mammoths. I hope scientists surely hope they know what they are doing if they are planning to create "Pleistocene Park."
