Michael Jordan would routinely play 18/36 holes before a game, Steph Curry is an avid golf nut as well too. He congratulated Ronni Yin when she won a major last year.

These guys are idiots comparing Caitlin Clark to Lebron or even MJ. These guys didn't go to a pro am tournament and have attendance go up 1,200%. They didn't help other sports grow. . Caitlin Clark isn't a generational talent. That would imply there have been others like her and there hasn't. Caitlin is a once in a lifetime talent that is much more important than any other athlete. .

I noticed something there - I'm pretty sure she was subtly avoiding people who were clearly just trying to get something signed by her so that they could sell it online - there were at least 2 shirts in the crowd being held out with the cardboard inner 'frame' for the shirt still in them (or having been put in there themselves) that they were trying to keep from getting messed up in any way. It felt like scammers trying to get free money from selling her autograph, rather than FANS trying to get something signed by their hero.

No one has 2 triple doubles in one season, and she's broken attendance records wherever she's gone. I'm not trying to put pressure on her when I say , CC is the greatest BB player in the history of the sport. It's just a fact.

I used to watch golf very much years back, Now, not at all. Differences had changed that. One would be channels are separating from broadband like Golf channel, ESPN, and sports streaming using services as a piggybank costing so much more per month, in doing this. Another, something about the players I have lost interest in watching them. Growing up on the 1960s and 70s there were so many golfers I wanted to see play. Now, boring. I was watching the LPGA till in the mid 2010s the American golfers winning had become the Asia golfers playing more than the Americans not only winning becoming in the top spots. Like the Pro-Am being on channels I do not have or can watch without paying $100 more per month. I wanted to see Clark just not that much. It is a changing world in sports where I do not watch much sports anymore, as I have grown older never thinking the change would affect me. I do not know how or why only Clark has struck me into watching WNBA and her. Maybe the old style of play that is lost in NBA for a long time.

No, no, no! I'm sure you know golf, but Caitlin's influence on the WNBA is more like Magic and Bird than Kobe or LeBron. Not to say there weren't great players before Magic and Bird, because there most definitely were. But, the NBA was smoky arenas and tape delay games until Magic and Bird arrived. Similarly, the WNBA was just an underleague, despite having a history that includes some great players. With the addition of Caitlin, the WNBA is becoming a league of its own. Now, if we could just get male head coaches out of the WNBA ranks...

People taut Diana Taurasi's horn as a basketball legend but Clarke completely eviscerated her on the court this year, as a rookie, no less.
