Not too much! As with us, too many refined carbs are bad for hamsters, they're prone to obesity and diabetes, nephrosis, etc.

I wish time would go slower and hamsters would live longer as long as they are healthy and happy. I just my little Cooper 4 days ago and my heart is broken.. At least he isn't suffering and in pain anymore 🌈💕

I wonder if she has to clip Taro's nails?? Taro looks like our hamster but with short hair & we clip our hamsters nails every 2 weeks! Btw neither of our hamsters seem to like pasta! I will try spaghetti noodles next time. So far just the twisted noodles we tried. But they love egg or chicken breadt pieces!

So cute, I just love watching your videos,! 🥰 Is there a particular type of pasta that is best for hamsters? I have a sweet little 1-year-old robo who eats well, but can be picky about things.
Any type is fine but pasta is just a rare treat :)
I like to give them a single long noodle and wiggle it around like a worm that stumbled into their nest! Some of my hams have been honestly ferocious hunters, and they loved playing worm. It would "try to escape" and they'd grab it with their mouth and front paws and reel it in. Hamsters are omnivores and would eat tiny creatures in the wild. Mine were a little wilder than Kuma's well-bred, gentle floofs, but still so wonderful. ❤
Imagine if it were possible to breed them to have longer lifespans... 5 years would be a dream come true! :(

Kumaqq do you have any tips for having bugs in the foodmix? My hamsters food storage was full baby buys😭 i deepcleaned it and read online that you can freeze the food so the bugs will die(i coudnt see any bugs in the foodbag) worker of petstore told me that they wont harm the hamster and freezing the food will be enough. I have 0 experience in bugs can you give me tips

hamsters normally sleep in the morning/afternoon and they play and explore in the night because they are nocturnal, they sleep for about 14 hours a day, so when you wake him in the morning, maybe he just slept and that's why he is still sleepy. Try and observe him for a week to find out when he sleeps/ or when he is active in his cage so that you know when is the best time of the day to let him out.

Please pray for my little winter white dwarf hamster, named Poptart :(. I haven’t seen her in about two days and im quite an anxious person. i set out food last night in a bowl to see if she ate and one was gone. not sure if it was like that before or she ate it but she would eat it all..
