You should definitely react to the Chinese show "The Singer" version of this song 2017. This show edited down Dimash's performances and lied to him that he wouldn't have to compete against children which is against his culture. Dimash withdrew from the competition when he found out, the first prize was a million dollars.
Since Eric Carmen wrote the lyrics to "All By Myself," recorded it and took it to the highest position it ever attained on the music charts----22 years before Celine got around to recording a version---it is Carmen's name that should be in the title of this video. Probably not the fault of the reactor but of whoever originally uploaded the video to youtube. Celine's version, just like Dimash's, is a cover of Carmen's original. It's simply a matter of credit where credit is due and something about which music industry folks are very sensitive.
Celine Dion's version is a cover of the original by Eric Carmen. The World's Best is boycotted by Dimash fans because of the way they treated him and how they choppily edited the songs. There are better versions of this either from the Chinese show The Singer or from Dimash's own concerts.
Such a shame the TV show hated him so much after he walked out that they shredded all his performances to nothing. Look for his performance of this at the MTV awards on RUclips, it's far better and complete.

That's why I don't look at this reaction. I'm so sorry. It's not your fault and I'm sure you did well. Dimash was lied to and scammed before this show to sign for it. In his culture, children are encouraged and not competed. When Dimash asked if he would have to compete against kids on this show, he was assured that he didn't have to. Otherwise he would never have signed. When he happened to bump into the then 12-year-old Daneliya Tuleshova backstage at his last performance (the artists were strictly separate), he learned that he had to compete not only with her, but also with a 7-year-old boy. He then performed and immediately asked the jury for his resignation. The jury's reaction was beyond offensive and inappropriate. I'm sending you two links so you can get an idea of how unworthy the jury behaved if you want. I also saw a video where the two presenters made it look like Dimash had resigned because he was afraid of losing to the kids. The first link shows the appearance and retirement in the finale and the second link is from two eyewitnesses who were present at that show and can testify that Dimash was screwed. I love Dimash for his integrity that his principles go over $1 million. I still get angry when I write about it Not only did they shorten and mutilate his songs until it hurts, no. He also performed a song in Kazakh, hence his traditional robe. They eliminated that entirely. We all know how proud he is of his Kazakh homeland and loves to show it to the world and it really hurts.
