Condensed into one single video and much easier to follow (I hope!) although it's long one so feel free to jump/skip where you need to.
Just to recap on the materials - I use 2mm 3ply twisted cotton cord from Amazon (UK) I use 48 cords and each cord attached to the hoop is 200cm long.
If you know your knots and feeling pretty confident then have a watch back at my previous video where I’ll talk briefly about how I make my tree’s - worth a watch and it’s a short video!
My previous tutorial for this tree was actually my first attempt at creating content - a few months on I’m hoping it has improved! Still lots to learn, camera, set ups, editing etc but I’ll get there!

I ❤how you did the whole thing together. It may seem obvious but I’ve followed a tutorial with 2 colors and she did each side separately and being only my third macrame project, it’s not uniform at all. I guess no tree is exactly the same all around, in nature, at least that’s what I’m telling myself. I’ve already had to take one side of the completed tree and do it over, unfortunately, before finding your tutorial. Oh well. I’m going to do it better next time. It’s hard not to feel like something isn’t for you, that I’m not good at anything. I have to remind myself that learning any new skill takes time, patience and practice and I need to learn to be easier on myself
I've been wanting to try one of those tree's for a long time - I'll make a tutorial if I'm successful! Never give up, have another go! :)

I have wanted to make a tree of life for some time. I never found a pattern/tutorial I liked. Your pattern is exactly what I was searching for. I just made my first one following your RUclips tutorial. Not perfect, but not bad either.

This is so beautiful and intricate. The tutorial is so well detailed. How long does it take to make one full piece ?
I can make one in around 5/6 hours. They used to take me much much longer though!

Hi! Absolutely love this and i got so much inspiration from you to do my own🤩 If i want to do smaller hoop how many cords i need to attach and how long the chords need to be?
Any size hoop with work! Add cords in groups of 4, I like to make sure they’re fairly close and cover over half I’ve the hoop - you won’t need as many so don’t cut them all just jet

Wow what an incredible project! I have done larger tree’s with 3mm cord instead. However, I’m halfway through a 40cm tree with 2mm and it works great - lots more cord though! I’d prepare the leaves in groups of four around the hoop - you want to cover just over half. Feel free to message me directly in instagram with any questions when you get started.

What is the length of cords you use please? Saw the answer on another post. Would it work as well with thicker cord? I have 4mm with a 30cm hoop. I'm a beginner but love this design.
I use 200m for each cord. If you’re using a thicker cord you will not need 48 lengths. I like my leaves to cover half of the hoop so you could start with 24 and see how that looks? And then add 4 at a time. Best of luck with your tree! Please message again if you need any more help 😊

Eu estou tentando aprender a fazer macramé sei fazer os nós básicos.
Estou doida para tenta fazer árvore da vida.
Me permita te perguntar eu não tenho aro aqui eu posso usar um arame galvanizado para criar o aro e iniciar a árvore.
As cordas q eu tenho aqui e barbante 24 fios posso usar ele.
E vc disse q usou 48 cordas de 2 MT cada.
Então cada fio tem 2mt aí dobra ao meio e prende no aro.

Qual o cordão ideal para fazer essa árvore? Tentei com barbante e fica frouxo, e cordão encerado acho que fica muito duro.

Merci pour le tuto par contre j'ai préféré mettre 2,30 à 2,50 m de corde au début et heureusement sinon ça aurait été trop court avec un cercle de 30 cm de diamètre aussi...
