I never look at Nike for shoes.. I ended up going on their site last night to look for a jorts of all things and found these shoes and my jaw dropped. Barefoot shoes was the first thing I thought of too and immediately searched for reviews. Thank you for comparing them to your existing barefoot shoes.
@@JaniceEadie Absolutely! Especially for a fitness brand. Maybe some people have narrow feet, but the poor kids that feel pressured to wear Nike's and don't realize they could be injuring themselves! Honestly, #NikeJaniceCollab, lets get it trending LOL
I had seen an RUclips influencer get these shoes and got drag through the comments but I like the shoe, but she never tried them on for us. Here I get to see them on foot. I don't know what was with the off-white shoelaces, I wonder if bleaching them or dying them would work. I really like them but you spoke on the concern I had because the threading meant there was holes and that a disaster for wet/dirty feet. Nike/Jacquemus should had a thicker tread on the bottom of outsole which would made just walking on concrete prevent the dirt and moisture from perpetrated into the shoe. Also with them using just plain shoe strings I can see them getting worn out and when I pay this much for a shoe I expect it going to last. Thanks for sharing and blessings to you and all in the days to come.
Omg I have just found out about these and I'm sooo excited to get them. Love that I've stumbled upon your RUclips, I wear barefoot shoes like 95% of the time and it's so nice to see someone with actual style talking about them! Have you found a more minimalist version of those Celine slingback sandals anywhere? I've gotten so used to just wearing zero drop that even when I wear Tevas for a few hours it starts to feel uncomfortable, so sadly I can't really compromise very often unless it's a super special occassion. Anyway loving your channel
I haven’t really seen a similar shoe to the Celine ones that are minimalist-the only barefoot sandals I wear that are really comfy are the Seaside ones from Feelgrounds. I surprisingly find the Celine ones very comfy. I was thinking the other day I started wearing barefoot shoes a decade ago at least and feel the past couple years I can wear a lot of shoes I wouldn’t have been able to wear In the past. I used to always have pain in my one toe but not anymore. But those Jacquemus are super comfy-my fiance got them as well and loves them.
I don’t really wear heels that much anymore so I don’t have many but I definitely need some for some events coming up so I’ll make a video if I find some good ones ☺️
hi Janice, i wonder, how these shoes held up over time in the end? and how was/is the maintenance? loving the deisgn and the fact its wide toebox but really worried for the lace detailing to be damaged way too quickly. thank you for the review!
Mine are still in very good condition but I’m pretty careful with my shoes. My fiancé had purchased the same ones and he is normally hard on shoes and his are still in pretty good shape. I would not wear them in wet weather though (if possible)
@geraldineboetsch4988 I can try to show them in a future video-they are still in great condition though, but I haven’t been wearing them as my primary shoes. I can show my fiancés as well, he is harder on his shoes than me.
I’m not sure, I was wondering how they will hold up. For me, I wouldn’t wear this for every day though. I have been wearing them walking around on vacation this week and they’re super comfy 👌🏻 I definitely recommend so far.
That sole and foot shape is not new. Nike had used it in select shoes before, this designer just happened to like those others and was allowed to utilize in this new mashup design.

I'm shocked Nike does not make more wider fitting shoes or even barefoot ones. I think some people need to be fired over there 🤣

LOL-I think that's what messed my feet up-I begged my Mom to buy me Nikes when I was younger and they were likely too narrow
This is the best review of this shoe, barefoot shoe wearers haven’t discovered them yet.
They’re so comfy. My fiancé got them as well and he said they are the most comfortable shoe he’s ever owned too.

Can you do a video on your favorite heels/sandals for wide feet please

Do you think the lace stitching will hold up over time and do you think they could be worn daily?

Hi Jordan. Are these sneakers exact size or need half size up to buy?
How is the sizing compared to the feel grounds?
My size 40EU in Feelgrouds = 40.5EU in the Jacquemus ones and those fit very similar.
Hi, if my regular size is 7, should I buy 7 or 7.5?
Excuse me , my english is bad , if i rock 9 us men on af1
Witch size should i take on this Jacquemus pair ??
Whatever size your AF1 shoes are in EURO sizing you can go down 1/2 size
@@JaniceEadie Thank you
Abit confused here, so is it true to size?
If you own AFI and order the same size in these they are going to fit 1/2 size larger. I kept mine, they are a little big though.
@@JaniceEadie my af1s are already 1/2 smaller than my usual size so that would mean a full size down for these jforces?
Do you still perform the liver and gallbladder cleanse ?
I’m only going to do it once per year as maintenance now. Last time I did was 5 months ago.
Nyyyyy-keyyyy
Pls make a socks collection video with try on pls pls pls
