Thank you, Bill! I am glad I am more open minded these days. A few years back I wasn't that interested in many other brands but the guitar World is far bigger for me now :) Thanks for the kind words mate, I put a bit of work into this track.
As a card carrying member of The Fender/Gibson Snobbery Club, I have to say that this Kiesel is..... a guitar I’d buy BEFORE a lefty Strat!!!😮😧😲😯 I really like the Strat pickup configuration with a Tele styled body!! Add the Johnny Hiland wiring and you have a really cool sounding guitar!!😁 As much as I want to keep the number of guitars I own down to a reasonable amount, opening options to all brands makes it difficult! Definitely checking out this spec. Great video!!! Cheers!!🎸🎸🎸😎😎

They are fabulous guitar and detail oriented. Pick ups are very nice as well! Pretty sure you will stick with that one and your fender might find itself getting lonely 😊😊

Just got my second Kiesel in the mail a couple weeks ago and it goes everywhere with me. I love my dc600 but my new delos is unreal. Ive had numerous other brand guitars both cheaper and more expensive than Kiesel. For my money, Kiesel is my go to.
The first electric guitar I ever bought was a Carvin DC200C. It’s the one pictured in my avatar image here on RUclips. My current main guitar is a Kiesel HH2. I love the guitars this company makes. They’re not cheap, but they’re an incredible value for custom guitars. Nowhere else can you get such an incredible instrument made in the USA to your specs for this kind of money.
Thank you! :) The drums are really fun but also sometimes really frustrating because I can't get what I hear out of my head on the recording a lot of the time haha. :)
Congrats on your first Kiesel! I love them. I have three. Technically 2 are Carvin models. A V220T from 1984, a DC127 from 1996, and my newest is a 2020 Type X headless. All play and sound great. My next guitar may very well be one similar to yours. I like the Tele/Strat combo. Now to decide on the exact specs. It's great to be able to choose your options and also daunting, lol.
Have a Kiesel Sophie Lloyd Aires VI. I love being able to customize virtually everything and at a great price for a custom guitar because they sell direct. Amazing sound, great playability, looks great. Much better guitar than my American made Strat and Les Paul.
I love the tones you got from that guitar I have 2 custom built kiesel guitars an Aries A6h electric and an Ac 375 acoustic and I rate them both highly it’s nice to get your guitar built the way you want it.
Really interesting! Neck pickup remind me of a 60s strat, next ones (pos 4 and 3) of a tele, bridge+mid knopfler, and bridge sounds like a more rounded out tele. There's also a vid of johnny himself demo'ing it when he switched to kiesel. This one was great to see how versatile it is.

Please let me know what you think of this guitar!
@@midpupposIII Thanks, mate. It's really nice and its a great point of difference to the rest of my guitars. I'll be using this thing a lot coming up :).
Switching and wiring are so cool. I might do this to my nashville tele which has 3 single coils. The missing sound on mine is that bridge + neck. Great guitar!
It sounds really good! (but I’ve never heard you play a guitar and thought otherwise!!) Really impressive getting a guitar spec’d the way you want. And a T (ish) guitar with gut cut and arm bevel hasta be a good thing. Congratulations!!

It can be done. As it is you kinda have to keep in mind and visualize the end result you're looking for. I'd definitely do it again if I were in the market for a custom guitar. Watch out for resale value though when you do decide to sell it.
Judging from the smile on his face, I think it’s a keeper! I got dibs anyway! Carvin’s were always great. I’ve got five. And they seem to be getting better even with the name change. I saw a Jeff Kiesel video the other day. They had over 1000 guitars in production. That’s a lot to keep track of, and would require a lot more labor and time. It would be cool, but doesn’t seem feasible. Heaven forbid if 20% had to be stopped mid-production because some anal retentive guitarist changed his mind. They would never get anything done. What they accomplish with all the choices and quality is pretty amazing. I bought my first Carvin sight unseen, without the slightest clue as to what I was ordering. Opening that case the first time is still one of my favorite guitar memories. I still love that guitar! Used to drool over the Carvin catalog for years. Would love to see a Kiesel catalog at least once a year, that really listed all the options and possibilities, with examples of each. There are probably a few more Kiesels in my future, and I’m pretty confident I’ll be happy with the results anyway. The one Shane has is so close to my perfect guitar, I might just ask for “The Shane Special”.

Love the finish! The pickups sound a tad plasticy compared to say, a Mexican strat, but I think they sound plasticy in a good way. Great guitar
JOHNNY HILAND SIGNATURE SERIES ?
Nice!
I'm guessing that calling them is the only way to get this particular layout in a lefty. You can't, that I've found, build this out on their website.
Great looking guitar! (If you remove a link or two on your watch band it won't flop around.)
Cheers, Paul. I like the watches loose. :)
