If Ware's rim protection means Bam is free on defense... that's promising ngl 🔥 I can already hear Eric Reid screaming KEL'EL IS EVERYWARE after every block 😂😂
I think he will be These draft boards are tripping 7 foot with a 7’4 wingspan. Very Mobile for his size. Shows potential that he can knock down an outside jumper
Loved how well he read the defense in those playmaking clips. Reading the help defense after a double team comes and making the skip pass is a high iq play
I’m an IU fan, Ware was one of the few bright spots for us this season. Played great and did so without any guard play. He got even better at the end of the season and was the biggest reason we won 5 in a row near the end. He’s still got a ton of room for growth but in the spaced out NBA and with pro guards around him I can definitely see him becoming a solid NBA player. I don’t have much good to say about Woody but he did do a great job developing Ware this season.
@@Breckinisballin those questions mostly came from Oregon so I’d defer to Ducks fans there. Aside from occasional lapses that most younger players have from time to time his effort wasn’t in any question in Bloomington. He was the only thing we had going on defense and sometimes the only thing we had going on offense too. Woody did a great job with him but there’s definitely an even higher level to his game that can be unlocked and if that ever happens it’s a very high ceiling. Skill wise he’s got everything you want in a modern day center. Adding more muscle to his frame would help a ton and I’d imagine he does that quickly once he gets drafted.
Kings made a mistake on passing on him for Devin Carter. Would’ve fit our team perfectly. Can space the the floor, defend multiple positions, protect the rim, a big lob threat, has post skills, a good middy, and just a good overall prospect. He’s also one of the few bigs that can play next to Sabonis and not hurt the kings on the offensive side of the ball. He has all star upside. Heat got one of the steals of the draft
What if the Kings add this guy to play next to Sabonis at 14? He's a lob threat for Fox/Monk, vertical defender and shot blocker. While Sabonis is doing his dribble hand-off action on the perimeter he would be free to post up. Can help space the floor 42% on 3's on 1/gm. Not much tape on him on the perimeter but he seems athletic and versatile enough. Could be interesting.
He would be a great fit for OKC. A seasoned more NBA ready college player. Both can come of the bench and play alongside Chet. Good rebounder and lob threat and also space the floor a little bit.
This is Patrick Ewing all over again...The way he turns over the middle for the jumper, the sweeping hook shot, the long strides, the nimble feet and the powerful finishes. He's NBA ready right now.
@@kobyz21 If he's ultimately a Miles Turner clone then that would be his floor. His ceiling is much higher than Turner IMHO. Turner has been mostly a specialty player who has survived on teams desire to have a stretch center not a well rounded post player like Ware looks to be.
@@jbwuzhere6819 turner in college was mostly a post up player, he just doesn't have the core strength to thrive as a post player in the nba, i think the same is about Ware
@@kobyz21I haven't seen many highlights of Miles Turner's low post footwork or counter moves with his back to the basket and he's been in the NBA for a long time now. Whatever he did in college was probably size/athleticism related. In the NBA he's Clint Capela with a three point shot.
Highly doubt he starts…do you actually watch the heat? Spo doesn’t throw rookies into the fire. He will be coming off the bench until he improves more, he’s still a raw talent.
@@cosmicwarrior1857 Spo started throwing Jaime in as soon as Jimmy got hurt, so it depends on how NBA-ready the rookie is. We'll see at Summer League. It's true that Jaime was a uniquely polished, 4-year rookie with a grown man's game.
An absolute monster. Him and Bam will have bigs running in circles. So far the only player I'd pick at 15 over General Tyler Kolek is Kel'el. 3rd place Edey. Who knows maybe Kolek will fall to 43 and we can get both 🎉. Honestly don't think Ware will fall to 15 maybe not even 10. So Edey and Kolek so far for me. 👍
Lakers should pick him if he’s available! He can play the 5 or stretch 4 and gives Lakers more rim protection. Like his passing, shooting, quickness and defense!
I think he's definiteyl a top 10 top 15 type of guy, the biggest knock on him is that he's gonn be physically outmatched out the gate in the league and he regularly can become a ball-watcher on both ends of the court taking himself out of the game during phases of a game.
I haven't seen all of the prospects but of the guys I have seen he has impressed me the most. You can tell how good he is going to be by how raw he is and yet still dominating.
He’s too skinny. He needs to pack about 30-40 lbs to able to hang with full grown men at the next level. His rebounding strength isn’t impressive. Leaves a lot to be desired under the glass. That’s why he’s nowhere close to being a lottery selection

I like that he's mobile for a 7 footer with a bag in the paint already. And will hoist a 3 if left open. At 19 years old..we did good.
