My hair colour is plum by directions. It's such a nice colour and it stays 3 months or longer in my hair without re-dying. I love it, it's so pretty. First, it's plum, after that blue, than turquoise and in the end green, before your hair is blonde again. Love it💕

I wanted to buy Plum by Directions because it's more red and I have greyer hair now so I thought it wouldn't go green... What do you think?

I've tried neon red hair dye with ion, Arctic fox, manic panic, and special effects. Imo Arctic fox is the best. It isn't as expensive as ion, it's cruelty free and donates to charity, lasts longest, and is the only red dye I've ever tried that doesn't stain my bathtub clothes or towels which is hard to do because it's red, it smells super nice, and actually makes my hair HEALTHIER instead of more damaged like special effects did. Plus when you order at least two bottles from the website they send you a sticker and their box and packaging is super cute ❤️ so I've been using Arctic fox for over a year
For me, Directions are the dye to use. My hair dyes very well with them - with Manic Panic I had some problems. But others say it's the other way around with their hair, so I don't know. But I like the packing of the Directions very much, too. Because it has no angles or edges inside you get everything out of the tube. Manic Panic has that round edge on top where you really have to work if you want the last remains.
manic panic is the one i use the most, its really expansive and there are a lot of tones of colors so you have a better choice, and even if it fades, its a beautiful color.
I think I prefer Manic Panic over Directions because Directions NEVER stuck to my hair. With Manic Panic I don't even need to bleach my hair to get total coverage :3 I went from a washed out red/pink to an instant blue.
when I dyed my hair with the blue and pink from schwarzkopf it was alright and lasted some weeks, just like the directions did. Maybe it was something with your shampoo you used
I love the idea you had for this video! Maybe try washing the extensions a few times to show which fades better as a follow up? And it'd be great to see this kind of video with different colours (like all pink or all orange)!
I use Punky Colour and Arctic Fox and they're good for your hair, I've had them both on for 12 hours (fell asleep with it in) and my hair was so soft! Also, both are cruelty free!

It may have already been said, but what was the color used for Crazy Color? I believe the Manic Panic was Ultra Violet. I've used that and it's such a neat color. It's blue in some light and purple in other light. I like the blue toned ones. The blurples.
With hair colours like the thick paste/schwartzkopf just heat some coconut oil until its all melted...mix it into the hair colour, it thins it out.. makes it go a lot further! & doesnt alter the colour at all! 😃

A really big part of what people want to know for these semi perm hair colors is how does it hold up when washing? Which I think fading is really important to know. For example, Lime Crime fades super quick & for that reason no matter how cute packaging is or price, if it doesn't last, it's a no go for me. Wish that was part of your video review.
Aah, I got so happy when you used the "Plum" by directions because that was the first "crazy" color I've ever used on my hair! Uneducated little me just put it over my dark blonde and it looked awesome for a while and then faded out to grey which still looked pretty cool to be honest!

I would love to see and hear what you think about the brand adore. They have semi permanent hair dye and so far for me its great. Over here in the US its $6 and its been true to color for me. If i use it straight out of the bottle and let it sit in my hair for 1-3 hours like usual it comes out the same color as the liquid from the bottle. If you do water color method which is usually used for wigs and extensions it comes out true to the color that the water was with the dye mixed into it as well.

You should maybe do a part where you wash the extensions, in order to see which colour stays most :) And if you're thinking off redoing the battle again, maybe you could seek for Arctic Fox colours and Stargazer ones ! Elumen is the best for me. And I also reccomend Pravana to test. And you should also consider the smell and how it leaves the hair. BUT, this review is everything, you're accurate and super nice!

I don't know about lime crime's hair dye but I know their makeup has had some issues with ingredients in the past and while they were vegan, they weren't very safe for you to use. I hope they changed their ingredients recently though, but I would still watch out for that! Arctic fox is also a good brand if you want to try more, they are cruelty free and donate 15% of profit to helping animals :D
is your hair pre lightened? the more porous your hair is the more the dye molecules will seal inside. i usually dye my hair after lightening it and it stays forever. also use a cuticle closer immediately after dying hair

I've used Swarzkopft (I can't spell it sorry) and you're suppose to use it on damp towel dryed hair. When the hair it wet you get a better color result with the dyes so the result you got for it wasn't accurate. Sorry just had to point it out for the brands sake!

Manic panic has several shades of purple and the one you picked has a blue base, they have pink based purples as well.

I use Special Effects. The color doesn't strip as bad when I wash my hair...

The Live colours aren’t pre mixed they come with developer. You have to mix it yourself why it was so thick
