Definitely, you get to believe what you want and by no means should anyone need to convince you.
Although, I am just noticing the broad responsibilty you are putting on the shoulders of yourself and other people with your not 'trusting people' comment. You can never 100% count on others; the variables are far too great. Your awareness informs you, not others. You do the best you can with the information that you have and take responsibility for your choices.
The feeling of not being able to trust people is a statement of loss. Fear is naturally in that energy. If you have a keen sense of who to stay away from then that is certainly good. But it wont feel like a sweeping statement of vexation when fear no longer exists. You get to do you; I hope it includes the freedom to experience loving people and being loved in return.🙏🕊

This is how I ruined a connection with someone this week … exactly as you said … I thought I was better at releasing control but I was too into the person and as you say the fear crept in and I was trying to find a way to hold them … but they felt controlled and I lost them … I was grabbing the concept I was in love with it and they told me that they felt like I was trying to have a hold on them. Sometimes I think I am being totally cool about things but the subconscious desire is so strong it bleeds through without me realising … it’s pretty bad now with this person … one thing led to another and the more I tried to fix things and try to show them I wasn’t trying to do that the more that somehow came across. And yes it created a conflict and numbness. You are so incredibly spot on. I hope in time there’s a way we can reconnect and it can be fixed. I feel like I didn’t get to show my true colors from something that started so wonderfully and ended so stupidly … because of fear.

I come from a long line of strong personalities. I lost control several years ago when my relationship unraveled. Many things became clear at that time. Control is an illusion! As soon as you think you have it, it slips through your fingers!
@@mariecampana631 How true but in my opinion, you gotta give it a try. However, I am not really a fan of control. I’m a lot more into spontaneity . Then I can usually do as many things as are presented and reasonable, of course.
I let go of control when my relationship collapsed. I actually took control of myself! I realized that my biggest issue was letting some a$$hat toy with me!

Spot on for me I'm in charge of searching for a house and my friend is on the same wavelength as me but i have to take into account 3 other people who are just not as involved and aren't communicating which makes me feel like I don't want to take in charge.
It is fear because it's my first time renting and we have a house ready but we have a plan b but we aren't thinking about that house yet.

HA! I was fully immersed in being my husband's caregiver. Meal planning, administering medications, blood pressures, eye drops, appointments, etc. He's completely delusional and does not appreciate anything I do and I'm constantly catching him talking to other women. I left AGAIN for the 10th time. I have no desire to help this man anymore. He can find someone else to drop everything when he needs help. I'm focusing on me and my needs now✌️
