      That will never happen because there's nobody left to do that and there's never been a concensus on his life or his basic behavior because he kept everybody around him too compartmentalized. If you listen to each person who speaks of their personal interactions with Elvis, its almost as if each person is talking about an entirely different person, i dont think Elvis allowed anybody to get to know the whole man he was in his entirety 😮

    Thank you Danny & Theresa for another great video. I'm glad they caught that scumbag who damaged the mural.
    Elvis was the gift that kept on giving right up to the very end. In addition to being a magnificent entertainer, he was a humanitarian and a philanthropist who gave away millions to charities and notable causes in his lifetime. He knew what it meant to be poor and never forgot his roots. There will never be another Elvis. RIP Elvis and thank you for everything. Gone but never to be forgotten.

      Exactly, I could never understand why he felt that way. He had soooooo many fans at that point already. And now he has soooooo many more all across the world. Too bad he couldn't of had that experience. Maybe that would've changed how he felt about it

    I’d love to see a movie that shows Elvis more in his “off duty” moments. We have seen the videos of him in concert performances and media interviews. I guess my curiousity is about the daily life of Elvis around Graceland….like what conversations lead up to a fireworks fight?? I’d like to see him in angry moments, loving moments with Lisa Marie, how he spoke to his staff. How he gave away things to total strangers, how he made that happen. His humor. What he was like chatting with his Mom and Dad. That sort of stuff. But I guess it’s hard to capture the true essence of somebody in a movie. What a gift to have known Elvis.

    Danny, I appreciate you all and your parent’s videos so much. These videos have helped me to feel like I knew Elvis, even though I never met him. I was fortunate enough to see him in concert in Knoxville, TN on 05/20/1977. I was only 15, and it meant so much to me because, not only was I a huge Elvis fan, but it was one of the few out-of-the-ordinary things my whole family did together. We sat on the second row, but we were on the side of the stage, behind the back up singers. Elvis walked around them to see us once during the show. It’s crazy, because the tickets were only $20 each. My mother sneaked in my Panasonic cassette recorder, and I still have the tapes. I’ve been to a great many concerts since, and none of them even begin to compare. It was, without exception, one of THE highlights of my life. One of my daughters and I got to meet y’all at the Q & A last year, and that meant a lot. I won’t be able to make it this year, but if there were any weekend days scheduled, then I’d absolutely find a way. Have a great summer, and thanks again!

    There’s a woman who has a channel on RUclips called Presley Mania. She is a big Elvis fan. She doesn’t care for Priscilla. She has been obtaining legal documents that are made public. Priscilla is being sued by several people in Florida that she hired to help build her image and make money. Priscilla is not agreeing to this hearing this month. And this lady found out that Lisa had sued Priscilla about giving money to people in her family from EPE. And she also begged Priscilla to not do the movie “Priscilla”. There’s more but you can watch this lady read public court documents about Priscilla’s mess. It’s ridiculous.
    I’m glad you all had a good 4th of July. Tacos are always good! ❤
    🚨Have you both heard anything about all this stuff that lady is reading and telling about Priscilla? It’s been made to the public these court documents concerning this case. It states different things about Priscilla and Lisa. Etc. I sure wouldn’t pay $200 for Priscilla’s signature. She has been having meet and greets to make money. In Florida and other places as well.

    • @katgirlblue
      @katgirlblue 3 месяца назад

      All court documents are public. Priscilla is being sued by Brigitte Kruse of "Priscilla Presley Partners" and it's not that she "didn't agree" to the hearing - she doesn't have that option. She requested that she not have to appear in Florida, but rather do the hearing remotely, which the judge granted. I don't believe that Rhonda said anything about Lisa suing Priscilla over taking EPE money and giving it to her family. I watch Rhonda all the time and never heard her say that. What's the name of that lawsuit and when was it filed, and in which court? If you're referring to Priscilla supposedly paying herself $900,000, that wasn't a lawsuit - Lisa simply cut her out as Executor of the Trust, and named Riley instead.

      @@pattynuzzello9035 Thank you for being so nice. I don’t hate Priscilla. Did I say that? I was wondering if Billy and Teresa knew anything about it. I have heard Jo talk about how snooty she became when she quit talking to them etc. I definitely worry about my life. I can’t help all about Priscilla endeavors are public. A lot of things she puts on her Facebook and in interviews about herself etc. I’m sorry you are so upset.

As for Elvis settling down, I could see it if Elvis hadn't been a rock star and stayed a trucker driver or had a "regular" job. I would love to see a movie about Elvis the man and of course a little of the image as well. His shows were out of this world! Therefore, it should be part of the movie. I'd love to see a movie that includes the whole family when Minnie Mae was alive and all the family included!! The phenomenon is always how people just can't get enough of Elvis and now it seems the whole family too! I'd love to just see something about when you, your brother, mama and daddy were inside Graceland with the rest of the family while Elvis wasn't touring and away from the hill and also when he was on tour and just a humble kind of portrayal of everyone at home on insignificant times together. Has anyone ever asked you that before? I enjoy you and your family so much! Thank you for your wonderful humble podcasts! Down to earth, loving and honest --- you and your family are so nice!

    I like that Elvis' guys handled it,
    I love the way he had people he trusted maintain Graceland.
    Feel the same about the Vandalism, hopefully there won't be anymore but this world is in a place that I thought I'd never see it in.
    Houses and cars costing 3 and 4 times of what they are really worth, just blows my mind that a new Chevy Blazer cost around $60,000. 7-10 years ago, you could've bought the nicest Cadillac or Corvette for that.
    Anyway Thank Yall, Great Video

    I'm a reader also, Teresa. I have that book on order actually through the Graceland website. I've read many books about Elvis( not the one the West boys wrote, out of respect ) and I was wondering if you had read that one by Greg McDonald "Elvis and the Colonel"? he stated that the reason Priscilla left was because she grew tired of Elvis cheating when she said in her book that she cheated with her karate instructor. It was a history book on the Colonel, and I guess it was okay, I just didn't like the way that STILL had Elvis portrayed as an addict. According to Sally Hoedel's book "Destined to Die Young" she went thru many of Elvis health issues. I liked that book much better. As Elvis was portrayed in a very different light than how the media portrayed him. I think he was a great person. Kind and caring about others. So glad the vandal was arrested! Thanks for the update!

    Did Ginger go to Elvis buried site? If so who did she ride with?
    In her book Ginger said Lisa Marie was going to called her mommy even in front of Priscilla, do you think it's true or Lisa Marie knowing it would tick off Priscilla more than thinking of her as her mom that soon?
    Thank you all for taking time out to let us learn more about Elvis the man. I love you're and Linda's stories because there done from love and you can tell that on each post you all do.
    Prayers and God's blessings to you and hopefully you both will have the best of the rest of the year.

    QUESTION:
    First off let me say that I absolutely believe in NDE's Because I have a friend who had one. Have you seen the video about the NDE that Billy Stanley had. If you have seen it what did you think about it. I think it is true because he did not know that he actually died and he came back to talk about his experience and who he saw in heaven.
    If you are interested in knowing about NDE's you should watch the video that John Burke has made. He has been studying NDE'S for 35 years and has interviewed over 1,000 people worldwide.

    Danny &Teresa should write bios on everyone who was close to Elvis, Those who are still living can do their own and have it all on your RUclips.Perhaps Baz Luhrmann would want to use it with the extra footage he said he may release. This would be valuable for Elvis fans.

    I overhead someone that Graceland mention, there's a hidden vault in the back yard of Graceland with Elvis Childhood things. The tour guide said " We don't talk about those things". Not sure if it's true. Have you heard this Danny?

    Hey Danny. I have an idea for A independent film company that would do an Elvis movie right. His name is John Schneider and his film company is in Louisiana. He probably put the input of the family in the movie.

    Did Elvis ever meet Marlon Brando? Also, what was Elvis’ favorite movie he, himself, was in?

    • @MrRockabilly70
      @MrRockabilly70 3 месяца назад

      Yes, they met and spoke briefly in the cafeteria of Paramount studios while Elvis was filming King Creole in 1958 which incidentally was Elvis’ favourite movie. Elvis admired Brando as a serious actor which was something that he aspired to be.
