  • A Utah police detective is under investigation after arresting a nurse when she refused to let him draw blood from one of her patients.
    ====
    Why a woman's doctor warned her not to get pregnant in Texas
    By Elizabeth Cohen and Danielle Herman
    Nine years ago, Cade DeSpain messaged a friend about a cute girl he saw on her Facebook feed.
    The friend introduced him to Kailee Lingo, her sorority sister at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas. Kailee remembers that when she and Cade met, it was "a connection at first sight."
    A month after college graduation, Kailee and Cade married in Marble Falls, Texas. They're both proud to be native Texans: Kailee's family has lived there for generations, and Cade's ancestors are among Texas' "Old Three Hundred," the original families that joined Stephen F. Austin to settle the area in the 1800s.
    At the time, the DeSpains were both passionately anti-abortion.
    "I was just your quintessential pro-life Texan," Kailee, 29, told CNN in a recent interview.
    "I was raised in central Texas by extremely Republican parents and grandparents," Cade, 31, said. "One hundred percent pro-life."

      Policy doesn't override law. If there are probable grounds, then exigent circumstances as per the motor vehicle act, warrant that a health care worker MUST provide a blood sample to the officer, regardless of whether the patient is conscious or not. @Queue Kumber What footage? And what does "draconian" mean? I have autism, so some things like what you said don't make sense to me. And that cop was the bad guy not the nurse, and the truth is cops don't enforce laws, they violate rights. Even if I'm scared of cops like I'm supposed to be because I have autism, I have the interest and courage to fight a bully like that pig messing with that innocent nurse just because she was doing her job. That nurse could have been murdered and someone needed to protect her, and if I was there, I would have done the same thing as Mufasa from The Lion King. So because autism restricts me to a low English level, what footage were you pointing out and what's the description of the word "draconian?"

      That's exactly how I feel! Judges are just as bad, this one judge I stood before was going to give me 6 month in jail. But made up his law instead of going by how the law was written. My Lawyer pulled it out of that court and went to a higher court, and won. This young girl claims she saw me when it was getting darker. But in court there were 7 people in their and she could pick out in a well lite room. I was in a different state on the phone at the same time this girl saw me. I had my phone to show where I was at that time and he didn't want to see it, he just want lock me up. In the waiting room the Bailiff came up to me and said the system is f*cked up. they just want arrest everyone and locked them up. The Bailiff was right systems f*cked up.
