Playthrough rules :
- Take first available fresh characters, no re-rolls.
- No boons, no mini-map, no aim snap, no aim assist, no bounty broker, no auto-righting cars, no map marker...basically no artificial advantages
- You can only use radio calls that you earn in game.
- No cheesing (cheesing hearts, standing on car roofs, reversing into juggernauts, enlisting immortal characters etc)
- No Scentblock
- No OP ...so for me that includes Trader Outpost, pyro-launchers, Red Talon recruits (weapons are fine if you can find them), no prestige or unearned radio call ins, no gifts from Undead Labs like the bloodmobile. No Cleo or daybreak items at all unless found in game.
- Try not to go overboard with vehicle kills and dodge spam.

Fueling the plague heart is pretty easy to take out… tends to hurt bad though

Great video Guru I'm really enjoying this series 😊👍 now that a lot of plague hearts are already awake, may I suggest going after the cluster of hearts that are affecting fueling the plague curveball? In my opinion, this curveball has been a big reason for spending influence and time away from taking out plague hearts as it's constricting an important resource. With the curveball gone, you can have more gas for travelling and making fuel bombs which will contribute immensely in clearing out the map faster. I'm enjoying the series of course, so I'm not saying this to make it end faster or anything I just want you to have access to an important resource that has been a reason for a lot of diversions of influence and time for a while now. Super glad you are enjoying the series 👍 Fuel is not too much of an issue as we have a lot of surplus food we can convert, double if we ration. I'm hoping to use the flaming zombies to clear most of that cluster befire downing the heart. Well, that's the plan anyway 😄 Thanks so much fir watching and the comment 👍 😎
for the bloater cloud grenades, you need so form of fire(eg. Molotov, road flare) before you through the grenade to do the most damage
Yeah, road flares seem the best. I bought a bunch of them off the zombie hunters and so am using those. Firecrackers are unreliable and fuel bombs reduce the gas grenades damage. But you know what you're talking about 👍 thanks for watching and the comment 😎
Yep. The bloater gas grenades work really well Guru. But you need to throw your accelerent about a half a meter away from the heart and then the grenade on the accelerent for max effect.
Hey Norm! Are you saying I was doing this wrong/imperfect? Cos that's what I was trying to do...but I get the wrong end of the stick all the time so was I doing it right?
@@gurugamingkiwi you were half right Guru. You had your flares in the right spot but you threw the gas at the heart. Throw the gas on the flare about 6-8 grenades should get you a phase. Although you are using an earlier mod, so it may be more. I think you were saying the older mod the heart has more hit points?

Guru, I need you to join me in requesting having saved loadouts added to either SOD2 or SOD3. Having basic loadouts you could save for say "stealth" "PH destruction" , "looting" etc. would save a ton of time standing at the supply locker. Pass the word and let's get this done! 😁
PS: the night heart didn't seem too much worse than attacking a day heart so that is nice.
Haha, sure, but only if it replaces "stims" with snacks when that's all I got 😄 I'd be happy with an auto-ammo slot pption toggle when selecting a weapon though...👍😎
Fall Down Go Boom just put out a video showing the fire and plague hearts. There is a method to the madness and he clearly demonstrates how to pull it off with great success once you know how it works exactly.

heya,dont you think this map doesn't look as good as the rest, is washed out like the used water colors, not as crisp as the rest .great vids...
Hey mate - I use a black/white filter for the intro and at night I add elevated light levels so people can see what I am doing....maybe that is the contrast which makes it seems washed out normally? 🤔🙂
@@gurugamingkiwi no that’s all good,I play on Xbox,and I’ve noticed that a while ago go.hadn’t play that map in a while,so I did and noticed the difference,now I can’t unsee it! Lol
actually im wrong in not this map, Its the cascade hills ,the very first map looks washed up
