On the basis of all facts & figures Honda Brv is proved a smart SUV. Others like creta, duster, S Crass are compact SUVs but not as smart as BRv. It is also a matter of fact that BRv has discontinued but others are still in the showrooms and few are selling like hot cakes. Definitely brv did not pack with touch screen, reverse camera (R cam) in the beginning and added later, but these are not the whole things. Brv is having 2 seats extra which is more useful than touch screen & R cam. Touch screen & reverse camera can be implanted from out side but 2 extra seats can not be implanted. Other SUV designers mostly concentrated on one seat (driver's seat) only but designers of brv are concentrated on all seats. Friends, there are no any universally accepted definition of SUVs. Different experts, diff. Peoples, different nations are having their own definitions . Brv maximally fits on variety of definitions of SUVs. Honda tried to give a smart useful 7 seater SUV in price of existing 5 seater SUVs. Despite of having lots of useful qualities BRV failed to attract majority of indian people , reasons are multiple, may be Weak marketing, lack of awareness in customers, destiny related factor etc. There is needless uproar of offroading in the market. In india only 1 to 2 % people go for offroading. They also not go for it very often. Peoples are very busy in their onroad works. They travel point to point and also wishes to travel on smooth plane roads. So, for indian peoples (except forest and army officials) needless to search for 4WD . Front wheel derive ( FWD) vehicle is most sufficient for them. Brv, creat, duster (except few models), S cross all are FWD. Brv is a stylish, stable, powerful, comfortable, spacious, mileage frugal & peppy smart SUV. If we look for a little comparison between BRV, Creta, Duster, S Cross then we can see the Brv is the most qualified SUV over others. A) Ground clearance - Brv 210mm, creta 190mm, duster 205mm, S cross 180 mm. B) Tyre size - 16 inch for all. C) CC - nearly 1.5 for all with few minor differences D) Average (petrol) - between 15 l. to 18 l. for all E) Kerb wt. - between 1100 kg to 1300 kg for all So dear friends, Conclusively a vehicle ( BR V) having 210mm ground clearance (maximum in segment), very bold & stylish look, carrying 7 persons comfortably, 16 inches tyre, peppy engine (smooth ivtec) and very stable on roads can be surely called as a smart SUV. Initially Brv was lacking in few features ( touch & R cam) so creta & duster are also lacking in ground clearance & 2 extra seats. Extra seats and ground clearance are much more important than touch & R cam . Touch & R cam can be externally implanted. BRV , Creta definitely not having 4WD but who needs for 4WD , not 98 % of peoples and rest 2 % also don't use 4WD frequently.
Absolutely perfect review. Same view's mine and my late father's.l have also uses two brv 2017 and 2018 models.2nd brv which was 2017 was dameges in murree pc bhurban misshapen in June 2021.that l have soldout and l am searching for 3rd one and has no option against brv such agreat car
Great that you pointed out the road and wind noise issue, it is super annoying when traveling on highways. It would be awesome if you could do a video on mods fallout r fixing this. Maybe adding rubbers on the doors?
when brv launched, I hated it.. thought it was pointless. now 4 years later I got a BRV S as a secondary car, its not luxurious, its not great to drive.. but the car comes with alot of utility. Iv been using it as my daily driver for last one month and though it doesnt holds a candle to my civic when it comes to driving experience.. the car fulfils alot of other needs. Id really wish they bring a more top tier version, with better tyres, a AWD setup, a 1.5 turbo, Breakhold and independent climate control, and improved insulation, higher quality interior and cruise control, id gladly pay more
Another thing that is annoying is that the buttons do not lit up, so in the night, one has to scramble b/w them. Similar is the case for the gearbox. So no indication for R, N, D during the night time drive.
The negatives points are significant which are extremely important particularly comfortability & road noise. I am looking for a new SUV but will not opt for BRV just for the price reason compromising comfort & outside noise level issues.

Wa Alaikum Assalam. Go for auto top of the line S variant. It has the best features and resale. Go for white or silver color ( I would prefer white as it looks the best and sells well ). As for tyres you should go for Yokohama advan ( any series ).
It is known as brake to release and this is how you launch automatic cars with no launch control. Press brake, press race pedal and release the brake. Simple
Cabin noise can be reduced by installing sound dampening material. Seats can be made comfortable by installing new seat covers with thick foam. But even then there won't be a huge difference.

As my opinion Abi bhi flop hi ha resale value achi nahi na foran bikti ha, New 35 lac ki ha so I don't think. And Honda city 1.5 cc so again 1.5 with turbo hona chaye kiunke fuel average achi nahi or zada tar engine ma kuch cars ma sounds feel hua

We used regular fuel. Used both D and S mode depending on road conditions or L mode while descending.

Under power, same engine in city 1.5, fuel average is 8 to 9, suspension is very bad, must have VSC .... Pathetic vehicle...
