I love how there's never a background music and you can really feel the vibe with all the original sounds. Cheers!
0:56 Very clever to add the unrelated snowmobile sound to the clip of the coyote passing by to create a sense of continuation and connection with the video. This is the kind of care that keeps me coming back to these videos.
Maybe you could put some hooks inside, place boots and overalls in a bag (for thawing drips) but not having them sit in the drips and have warm boots and clothes in the morning.
Heh, it's been a while since my health has allowed me to go camping (winter or otherwise) but we used to use a bucket for our boots, hats, and gloves. Had a plastic grate in the bottom to allow space for the water to drain away from the clothing, while staying contained. But our trailer cabin was a lot bigger (it had a bunk bed and small barrel stove) so I'm not sure if a bucket would fit particularly well in this one.

The only thing I would look into helping heat loss is some sort of curtain that you could climb in and out through so you don’t lose all the warm air when the door swings open fully.
When you opened the cabin after going on your night walk, I was totally expecting a 'Coy Wolf' to be in there, curled up in you bed, drinking your coffee. =P

I like the way you turn off all the heaters when it becomes sleep time and just use your body heat inside the insulated sleeping bag saving power . Come morning when you wake up how long does it take to get the interior to comfortable room temperature ?
I hear you. I am old enough to remember frozen long johns on the clothes line. We knocked the ice of with broom sticks. Good times in Minnesota, hey? 😎
I like the video, as I almost always do. I wonder if you considered using a thermostate in line with the heater? You would be able to turn the desired temperature down at night or even program it to activate before you wake up. It would also preserve precious watt hours because the temp wiil never get too high. I'm a big fan of solar-battery solutions. What kind of wattage do the 200W combined panels deliver on a cloudy day? Could it be enough in the few hours of daytime in winter to sustain heat during the evening? Thanks for your efforts in making these videos with such a standard of quality.
The reality of filming outdoor adventures involves a lot of pre-planning, travelling 3x's the distance and good physical condition (for all the extra distance travelled). Thanks for a quick look at the extra work required to create a beautiful video and leaving out all of the extra hours it took just to film this adventure. I'm sure the editing added a few more hours to the production of what ended up a short vid. I enjoyed the whole video. I wouldn't mind watching another like it. Thanks.
You can tap into the snowmobile's electrical lighting system with some inexpensive components and charge the battery while driving or in the case of no sunlight while engine is running.
Wow! What you said when you were trekking through the woods about being scared as a youth resonated with me. But when you verbalized how you overcame those fears and finally felt at peace by knowing “The Father”..... what true wisdom you spoke! Thank you my brother in Christ for being bold and using your God given platform to share truth to anyone searching!
First you Chop the ice off your boots with an axe, Then you force your frozen pants down over your boots. Next step..?? Feed the birds. We all have our priorities I guess. Gotta love it.
I really like your sled cabin and the thoughtfulness that went into designing it. I appreciated all of your knowledge on the solar panels as well. Great video
Adding a dog as companion could help with heat too but with the Coyotes it might prove more dangerous for the dog. Great videos as always. Thank you. Prayers for your family. Stay Gold
A dog would do him great and as for the Coyotes all he needs is a weapon. Which I'm extremely surprised he doesn't have. Between the coyotes potential wolves and bears. My fat ass wouldn't be in the forest without gun of some sort

Thank you for mentioning your fear as a child of being alone in a dark forest. Even as a teenager on a bush weekend, I would have this very thought. It was the last few years that I found, peace, happiness, bliss and serenity in Mother Nature. I prefer being in a forest then going to programmed happiness venues such as bars, clubs, parties. @@dfgdfbsdfvv832 I know this. But if you know how to exercise safely in the cold, sweat doesn’t become an issue. It’s all about knowing how hard to push yourself and what clothing you wear. I’ve ran several times for up to 30 minutes and never had an issue with sweating. My trainer said I was crazy because I had frost forming on my winter face mask, but we had a goal and I was dedicated to meet it...that was in 14 deg F (-10 C) temperatures. As long as you know how to regulate your body temperature and prevent sweating, exercising in the cold like that isn’t a problem.

The more you know the less you fear. My dad (RIP) taught me that most fears are irrational and that I need to explore my fears so that they may be overcome. I was afraid of being in the woods in the dark as a kid so my dad would intentionally create opportunities where I had to be alone. He would intentionally leave a tool somewhere on the farm and then come up with some excuse that I needed to retrieve it...always in the dark. I remember being in a complete terrified panic at times until I finally overcame the fear. I now love being alone in the woods in complete darkness. The Bible says that the root of all fears is the fear of death. Since Jesus has conquered death for us all there is truly nothing left to fear!

that two stroke snow mobile is killing me, wish I could afford to buy you a four stroke, I think you deserve one for all the fine content and entertainment you give us, I really wish you all the best outsider.
Thanks for the videos - Hope your Wife and family are doing well, God Bless You All - Danny
Wow... I never realized how much you put into making a video 😮
Thank you and keep up the great work!
These videos are always so comfy.
I love your movies man. Love the voice activated recording too. Your love of film making is evident. Often test running small modular technology in extreme survival situations becomes a great set up for larger situations. The forest is a magical place. God bless you too. 🙏🏽
You have any idea how many videos in my watch later list I skip to watch yours first?
😎😎😎😎
I'm honored that you hold my channel in such high regard! 🙂🙏
I like the way you turn off all the heaters when it becomes sleep time and just use your body heat inside the insulated sleeping bag saving power .
Come morning when you wake up how long does it take to get the interior to comfortable room temperature ?
"If you have to use an axe to get into your frozen clothing in the morning, you just might be a northerner". Lol
lol 😂
20:40 Yeah I was just going to comment, "I AM A Southern" Great comment.
I hear you. I am old enough to remember frozen long johns on the clothes line. We knocked the ice of with broom sticks. Good times in Minnesota, hey? 😎
If I had to use an axe to get into my trousers I was in the wrong place.
@@manfredschmalbach9023 Not wrong.....just different. :)
I started watching your channel when you started building your little camper. Love all you put into your videos thanks.
Thanks.
How do I nominate this channel for cinematography Oscar?
Thanks for all the effort you put into this videos!!! Awesome content!! Hope it pays off:)
Since Jackery was sponsoring I wish you would of said from the start of your evening till morning time the output from the batteries.
You did a beautiful job with the snowmobile camper! It’s awesome! Peace and love!
First you Chop the ice off your boots with an axe, Then you force your frozen pants down over your boots. Next step..?? Feed the birds. We all have our priorities I guess. Gotta love it.
🪓😄🐦
I am so glad to see another video of yours. I'm convinced Jackery is the way to go after hearing how you put yours to the test. Stay safe!
finally, something from you!
@@bigdaddyroy5382 I know of I were him I would have one. But I would also not advertise the fact that I have one. I would not be a bit surprised to learn he had a .357 or .44 in his gear.
@@MrDavidlfields very true. Hopefully it's tucked away in the cabin where we can't see it

I know the Forest. I know Myself. Good quote. I came back to your channel after the ammo can water heater video. You do great work with your cinematography and look forward to learning how to be more comfortable in our home. Your drone footage is excellent and gives a unique perspective into this realm of spirits, magic and gods! I appreciate you recommending Jackery Solar and making this video!
Well, at least you get some good exercise while you’re out in the cold.
Sweat is your worst ennemy in the cold.
@@brianblackburn5238 i know man, but i do it all the time and i strugggle lol my clothes are good 2 but i sweat alot easy and sometimes i even get pissed and i just break into an angry sweat XD and a survival situation where youd run away from someone whatever, youd break into a mad sweat no choice
Does it take long to warm up your boots the morning after?
@@matthewjedi keep the liners of the boots inside your sleeping bag at night, the best way
the video quality is amazing, so crisp and clear, very impressive, thumbs up
As an adult, my greatest fear is being alone in a dark forest....lol
Just found you channel and I am looking back through your videos. Love it.
Love your comfort in your faith and the woods.
Amen Jack,well said.
Thanks for showing the behind the scenes footage at the end. I've been wondering if you're turning your snowmobile around to get those shots. Running back and forth is WAY more hardcore.
