Contemporary Cement Sculpting Camp, Karnataka - Kambala Sculpture

Kambala Sculpture was made in the contemporary cement sculpting camp organized at Agumbe by the Karnataka Shilpakala Academy. It becomes a great program for all the artists from respective sculpture backgrounds to meet and exchange knowledge on sculpting techniques on various topics. Kambala is a sculpture of a man ploughing with buffaloes. The traditional and conventional technique that the farmers used to run the paddy field is depicted with the two buffaloes held by a man.
