"People LOVE what I have to say... they just don't like the word 'N@zi'". My absolute favorite moment in the show, and super underrated. Stormfront isn't just "a bad guy", she's a stand-in for so many people in real life. N@ziism is alive and well, it just takes on new forms, with memes and new terms and an edgy attitude, just like her.
Like how the guys got so tense for the finale they forgot Kimiko could heal. The shot of Butcher walking past Homelamder with Ryan, not a fear in the world, man it's so good.
The reveal of Victoria being the supe was so shocking to me when I first watched it! And so excited for y’all to watch season three because even though you think that there would be no way it can get any better, it does
I don't think Ryan killed Becca directly. She wasn't burned. Stormfront's hand was around Becca's throat. I think she ripped Becca's throat open when Ryan hit her with the beam.
That makes a lot more sense but whenever homelander lasers someone (except for the daydream where he killed the people in the crowd) they never add burn SFX. Ultimately, explaining exactly what happened isn’t necessary to the plot but it’s fun to think about
The amount of emotion just in those 5 minutes of Becca's death messes me up . The cheering for Ryan taking control and what he did to storm front, then right into the crying for him being for forgiveness, right into the rage and loss brilliantly played on Karl urbans face, right into being pissed Homelander died up, right into cheering for Maeve, then right back into crying when you see Ryan choose BIlly.. my goodness... You need a break after that
William Butcher is the absolute fucking best! As usual he is amazing in this episode. Him yelling for help gets me every time. Both the acting of Anthony Starr and Karl Urban were tremendous. Can’t wait for y’all to get to Season 3 🤘🏽

If someone asks me about her I talk like she's alive. Hope this context helps :)
Lots of reactors think Cindy was the head exploder. The show doing a deliberate mislead. Cindy imploded things. Victoria explodes things. If you watch the exploding heads/hearing episode again you will see Victoria looking in the direction of the next explosion.

It’s a spinoff type of show that takes place between seasons 3 and 4 of The Boys. I highly recommend watching it, especially since y’all seem to be enjoying The Boys. Might help fill the void before Season 4 starts, some time next year. Just a thought.
idk, that show is just ok for me tho i havent quit on it yet. Pretty woke heavy (ill avoid spoilers) but some is so stupid i kinda find it funny. Theres just no one to root for. Im just waiting for a Thanos/Galactus type villain to save the day. Sam is the only one consistently not in the hate zone and 1/2 Jordan usually. Not a fan of the lead but ill keep watching
You should 100% go back and watch the court room scene. It's a masterpiece in cinematography. All the shots either show or imply how people are in Victoria's line of sight when they blow up, but it's still subtle enough to not be noticeable, if you don't know. They do focus on Victoria in too many of the shots, which got me suspicious of her the first time I was watching it, but even then I didn't quite see all the angle that are very obvious on a re-watch.
There is a theory that Ryan did not actually hurt his mother Stormfront was holding her neck and did not let go when she was lasered by Ryan which caused Becca's wounds. She was not burned in any way like Stormfront was
Lightning isn't actually electricity, it's plasma and so are those blasts from Stormfront. The plasma of lightning is created from an electric discharge from the clouds to the ground. We don't know what creates the plasma from Stormfront. So we don't know if Starlight could absorb anything from those Stormfront blasts.

Just some context, Ryan did NOT hit Becca. Stormfront had her hand around Becca's neck and when Ryan blasted her, her hand clamped down on Becca's neck and she was thrown back.

If you guys are liking the writing this much I think you should really check out Eric Kripke's (the show runner of the boys) run of supernatural Its not as solid as the boys just because there is a lot more filler considering the age it was made in but I think its also really good. Seasons 1-5 are his. he left after that and you can really feel the quality dip after that but up to that point its really great
I've been waiting til sort of the right time to give u guys this lil tidbit from Kripke, the creator, & it's not a spoiler but just fun fact. So did u notice how when the leader of the collective said to the deep that they still don't have room for him in the 7. Well.. think bout that a min. It's a group called the 7 & that Kripke thought would be histarical that the only ep that they are team of 7 members full is ep 1. No other ep has 7 full members & he wants to literally try to get thru the entire show run never having actually 7 team members!!!! I haven't seen anyone bring that up yet, & that moment there clicked for me, like what do u mean there's no spot for him. Of course, there is if they are called the 7. That just shows even more insight to Kripke's crazy creative brain right?? I know u guys are now actually ahead of us a few eps & hope yall are surviving the wild world!! lol
Its really cool how a lot of alternate universe sci-fi branches from WWII like it does in The Boys like the Fallout universe, Captain America, Cyberpunk universe, etc. Really makes you feel like every universe is possible had things gone slightly differently.

What I love the most about the victoria reveal is it is such a reflection on our politics today. People using politics on both sides in order to get what they want done, while pandering their talking points to the public.
That young actor did a phenomenal job performing such an emotional & tragic scene. I was so impressed with him (Ryan) all season. They are very lucky to have such a talent for this role. 👏

Main difference is: Homelander can control the intensity of his laser. Ryan went all out from the beginning.
Since he's the first natural-born supe, he could be the most powerful supe on the planet.

If you guys are liking the writing this much I think you should really check out Eric Kripke's (the show runner of the boys) run of supernatural Its not as solid as the boys just because there is a lot more filler considering the age it was made in but I think its also really good. Seasons 1-5 are his. he left after that and you can really feel the quality dip after that but up to that point its really great
Supernatural is exceptional, but I doubt they'd be interested in such a long show, even if they only react to the first 5 seasons.

So did u notice how when the leader of the collective said to the deep that they still don't have room for him in the 7. Well.. think bout that a min. It's a group called the 7 & that Kripke thought would be histarical that the only ep that they are team of 7 members full is ep 1. No other ep has 7 full members & he wants to literally try to get thru the entire show run never having actually 7 team members!!!! I haven't seen anyone bring that up yet, & that moment there clicked for me, like what do u mean there's no spot for him. Of course, there is if they are called the 7. That just shows even more insight to Kripke's crazy creative brain right?? I know u guys are now actually ahead of us a few eps & hope yall are surviving the wild world!! lol

Its really cool how a lot of alternate universe sci-fi branches from WWII like it does in The Boys like the Fallout universe, Captain America, Cyberpunk universe, etc. Really makes you feel like every universe is possible had things gone slightly differently.

What I love the most about the victoria reveal is it is such a reflection on our politics today. People using politics on both sides in order to get what they want done, while pandering their talking points to the public.
And it only gets better from here. And we get Jenson Ackles in season 3
That young actor did a phenomenal job performing such an emotional & tragic scene. I was so impressed with him (Ryan) all season. They are very lucky to have such a talent for this role. 👏
