" chaTraMue" means Cha= tea, Tra= brand & Mue= hand. It's an old popular btea brand in Thailand.

My favorite cold drink is called O-Lieng Yok Lo, it's a kind of oldy coffee in Thailand.

We haven’t tried the strawberry milk yet, but we do like matcha😋😊🙏

Love Yadong, had it first on Ko Mak at Monkey Island in 11/2008 where the owner, my friend Micky offered it to me. Really crazy resort with handmade Thai music, Reggae a.s.o Never will forget, love this beautiful island so much ❤️❤️❤️Have you been there? Worth it. Will be in Bangkok, Nakhon Si Thammarat and Ko Samui in 2 weeks with my family, can't wait! Hugs from Germany

during world war Coffee is classified as a product for military use only. This makes it difficult for people to access coffee. Thai people have therefore found ways to use other plants to replace coffee. such as burnt roasted tamarind seeds (smell and bitterness Sour, similar to coffee), red glutinous rice, corn, sugar, and other plants (each locality has its own recipe) are all roasted until they smell burnt, then ground into powder. Make a drink by filtering out the coffee powder. This makes traditional coffee brewed by filtering it through a cloth bag (similar to a sock). As for the reason that Thai drinks (tea, coffee) usually have a sweet taste. Because the weather in Thailand is very hot. People lose sweat and minerals during the day, creating high energy needs. Increasing blood sugar is a quick way to refresh yourself.

Jek-Pui curry is opened around 50 years ago and his curry is less spicy than Thai curry because it is Chinese style curry.

What you call rocket soda water is Nam Manet. It comes from the Thai transliteration of the English word Lemonade. It is an ancient carbonated beverage. Rocket is filled with gas. Looks like making soda water. From what I've read, it seems to have existed since the reign of King Rama V. About nearly a hundred years ago. I used to eat it when I was studying in the Phahurat area in the '90s. Near the ancient Khanom Krok shop where you used to eat. Nowadays, it should be difficult to find a drink. Even in the '90s, there were still very few. Not sure if it might become popular again now or not because the vintage trend has returned.😊

But this is the process of doing it in the early days when it came to Thailand. But from what I've read it says that it's a gas used to make soda that's fizzy.😅

D/D should try old fashion drinks coffee mix with tea and put some condensed milk very delicious, not too many peoples knew about it. This is southern coffee drinker style they called Ko Pe chum. You have to tell them mix it for you good luck.

@@Danny_DandD It’s from south especially at Trang province the Kingdom of delicious food. Once upon the times I came to Bangkok I told the coffee shops to make me Ko Pe Chum they didn’t know what is this. I told them how to do after they sip it they like it. D / D you can try to do by yourself at home half warm coffee and half warm tea put some condensed milk 1 or 2 teaspoons and try it. Good luck both of you. I’m followed your Vlogs at all times. If I have power I will give both of you to become a Thai citizenships.

Bangkok Chinatown is by far better than London Chinatown.There are only restaurants in London Chinatown ,no street foods.The strawberry soda that you had is called rocket soda (. นํ้าจรวด )you don’t find many nowadays.Curry and rice 60 bahts less than £1.50 is so cheap.

Even though I am Thai, in general, local old-style coffees are too sweet for me. If they could reduce the sweetness by about 50%, it would be great. We could enjoy more of the flavour.
Yes this one was quite sweet, we are normally the same and prefer less sugar but we wanted to try the old style 👍👍🙏🙏
