air tools changed my life. I'm 120 lb female and do my own work. I cannot stress going to harbor freight and getting a compressor and wrench. thank you for your video. I knew it wasn't the pressed on kind like the 96 but this video helped put my mind at ease.
please provide suggestion, same model, top one - 17 mm bolt is rotating and thread chip came out while taking the bolt out, I am not able to torque it to 80 ft-lbs, but threads with caliper is fine so I can put it back but it is loose. what should I do, should I replace whole front right Knuckle which is expensive or re-threading will work or should I run it like that? the bottom 17 mm bolt I can torque it to 80 ft-lbs.
@@RBTheMechanic Thanks for suggestion, doing brake job via watching your videos. I've decided to change caliper bracket itself aftermarket from Autozone, since there are no threads in Knuckle piece and there are threads only in bracket.
@@RBTheMechanic please provide another solution, after installing all 4 new brake rotors and pads, I'm getting smoke front right and rear left, is this normal?, and rear left piston was so tight to put in, it took two hours to put in - rubber boot was also cut in one place, should I replace whole caliper assembly?

You didn't put back the metal clips on the brake pads as seen at 1:40. I trust these are not important.
