I think the key is hypertrophy. Weight classes can place limits on that, no doubt, but the benching method you've described in the past seems to be mostly hypertrophy training, then going for the heavy, low-rep stuff towards the end.
I really enjoyed listening to you !! I got alot out of it as far as hammering technique & alot of reps to teach perfect technique..I do notice everyone seems to take a really wide grip also.. I do wonder if you perform any board work??
