    Some of your videos are recorded in mono while others are in stereo. The stereo is much better and doesn’t make me feel like I’m deaf in one ear when using headphones like this video does. Just some constructive criticism.😉 Weird,@ min 8.33 it switches to stereo when you aren’t standing in front of the camera.

    • @ChrisRalph
      @ChrisRalph  5 лет назад

      It is stereo, my balance may be uneven but there is sound on both channels. At the point you specified and beyond, its not done with a camera, its a screen capture. same microphone, different recording system.

      I can hear it in both sides of my stereo headphones.......

    • @dumpbear0
      @dumpbear0 5 лет назад

      Chris Ralph, Professional Prospector sorry bud but you are not in stereo. You might think you are but you aren’t. This isn’t the only video either.Three different sets of headphones 🎧, one set wireless,one set $400, 2 different devices,you only come through the left side when you are standing in front of the camera. There are points that the video comes through in stereo like when you are NOT in front of the camera or when there is a commercial but other than that you are only coming through the left side. It’s ok to make mistakes. It’s ok to be humble and admit to being wrong or making mistakes. If you aren’t actually going to do some testing to fix the problem such as watching your self on a different device with headphones, or ask some friends or family to watch on their devices”with headphones” then why argue with me? You can have sound come through both headphones if you are listening in mono.

    Great show I'm from Australia and it's true Gold is almost everywhere. Plus there have been some huge huge nuggets found in history. And there are plenty more just waiting for the next Armature to find his or her 25kg/150kg. Gold nugget often holding 18 karats to 22 karats in purity. Just waiting for the taking. My best find was all pickers but weighing 89grams in 10 of extremely hot weather with a detector. The best hobby in the world. Also I've been informed that only .0003% of the ESTIMATED Gold in Earth has been found. So get out your pickaxes. Cool.

    How big's your biggest nugget Chris?
    I don't think many nuggets will sell like a Butte nugget.
    The guy selling the Nugget wasn't the finder of the Nugget and you got to remember taxes and several other fees must be paid there's a good Market out there of private collectors that like to invest cash.
    Yes there are big nuggets still left in all you do is have to run your detector over them and dig.
    They're not in your closet or in your backyard they are where other nuggets have been found.
    Don't waste your time anywhere else unless you have lots and lots of experience.

    • @ChrisRalph
      @ChrisRalph  4 года назад

      My biggest piece is nowhere near the size of the Butte nugget. The finder had an auctioneer sell it for him, as happens with many types of collector items. I'm glad you enjoyed the video.

      Chris Ralph, Professional Prospector not sure if you got the whole story on the Nugget Maybe.
      I was thinking earlier that you were in on that patch kind of by Mill City .
      I don't know approximately 2004 remember I commented on blasting I think you did the year after.
      The chunk in the Colusa area was like 208 lb and just the metal detector for making sure metal didn't go into the crusher they weren't even mining for gold.
      It was like in clay with a black carbon layer on it that was coated with this layer of gold so you could soak it and it would the gold would come right out of it in these big gigantic flakes.
      I got a 4-oz chunk of that same stuff that very same weekend in the same area beautiful stuff I might even have some somewhere.
      Real thin and spectacular I did know her whole bunch of it was but no it is Gold Fever and everybody was fighting over and I didn't want nothing to do with it and I found it.
      By accident thought my detector was screwed up I couldn't get it to balance or do anything sit-down had through my detector on the grounds that had lunch with my dog.
      Started messing with my detector fresh stood up said what the hell is ground is blank in my detector out it's a gold bug picked up a chunk of this clay looking material and smashed it and rinsed it off in the water and low and behold gold is like aluminum foil maybe a little thinner.
      That was the last day I got to detect on that spot and not because of the owner well Gold Fever and they wanted me to go find another spot I wasn't allowed to detect there anymore oh well.
      You do a good job of explaining things nice and simply for the new people.
      Gold mining is not easy.
      Hiking is not easy backpacking is not easy racing cars is not easy racing motorcycles is not easy you got to put work your heart in a lot of effort into any hobby that you have same with gold mining there's no such thing is you're magically going to get rich the more effort you put into it the more you will get out of it.
      In one big nugget is not going to make you rich it probably will give you Gold Fever so bad you wish you never found it!

I visited the site again 10 or so years ago and they were no longer on display. Some were bigger than my hand..most in fact if I recall...in the late 70s I met some people who found on while dredging. It was in a matrix of quartz and the size of a baseball and greenish looking.
