1) We had one that colour. I am pretty sure that's called Metallic Beige by Toyota. 2) Brown and beige interior gets me excited too. If I was in charge I'd make all Toyotas beige outside and brown inside. 3) Needs a dash mash, sun visor (sold by Mr Landcruiser), halogen spotlights, acoustic and thermal insulation and some 3M Scotch Tint. 4) Dual tanks is super. 10 extra points for that. 5) This is one very nice vehicle. Thanks to Fred Dibnah's son for showing us this classic example of the marque. 8/10 Note : I like the white writing on the outside with 60 series and wider tyres. So I agree with Fred Dibnah's son on this. On everything else I prefer white lettering hidden.
@@adelarsen9776 it's good that we can agree on something..... Actually we agree on a lot of things. A Restoration job deserves the subtle, age related upgrades (With the exception of the OE split rims) but a "Resto Mod" upgrades should be the best available right now! Well Ade, that's my view on it 😁👍
To be honest Richard, Paul would know you better then any of us so if he questions your sexuality the white writing should probably go on the inside but in saying that I'd drive it with the white writing any bloody where whilst I question my own sexuality. Mint 60.

Except they have crap horse’n cart era leaf springs. That’s why Nissan Patrol GQ & GU coil cab utes & wagons with the mighty Td42ti diesel engine are the best trucks mate 👍

@@triggerhappy8872the leaf springs were the way to go back then, including with Nissan. An upgrade Toyota did years later (and way better) with the 80 series (universally acclaimed as the best 4wd evA!!!). Your GQ/GU are good cars, but though being coil-sprung and consequently slightly more comfortable,.they are not as much admired and wanted as our old leaf-sprung TLC 60 series is. I am with Paul on the NO WHITE WRITING but … to each their own😁! Nice looking vehicle.
A generational vehicle for their grandkids to appreciate. Cheers

White writing facing out is a must for classics, I think it’s the right thing to do!
Classic old rig, drooling over that one
I’m with you about the writing on the outside of the tyres 👍
Top looking 60 👍👍👍
A art of beautiful 😂
Rare gem these days
Lovely Ep and 4wd, there just tyres they hold air and go around.
Thankyou for what use do ...
You guys really need to look into a front coil live axle kit for 60 and 45 series, jack up weld on ,and a shop that's does them😅
"The Pinnacle" .... Made all the better with the writing on the outside of the tyres! 🤔
I agree, as per my comment.

I put writing on the outside then thought against it, tried to black it out with a paint pen 😎

Theirs no questions about it, the writing On The Outside. It's like putting a number plate on the outside Or putting it on seat inside 😁.
White writing definitely on inside ....😂
Thank goodness 1 person agrees with me lol
