Guys, we may wait our whole lives for our team whoever it is to win a title. Don't expect titles, unless you're a Patriots bandwagoner, things things don't happen. The best you can hope for and actually achieve; is being a contender, having exciting games to watch, getting into the postseason. Expect titles and you'll be an angry person your whole life, football won't be fun for you, it'll always be a source of resentment and frustration, a bad part of your life.

G M G he would’ve been good if he stayed in Denver, he left thinking he was just that good of a QB when it was Kubiak/Peyton’s hybrid system that was saving his ass. Brock had the arm Trevor Simian wish he had and I think with Brock we possibly could’ve went to the playoffs atleast in 2016 instead of barely missing them with a crazy conservative offense and a killer defense. McManus was all of our points that year, I think Brock could’ve possibly changed that.

@@julsc2106 So let's be VERY generous about the statistics - let's hypothetically say that both times the Broncos and Patriots played were in the regular season, and the Broncos completely shut the Patriots out both times - so we take the 24 and 18 points away - the Broncos still would have allowed 254 total points. There were many defense in the 2010's which allowed 254 or less points that I can come up with. In 2010, the Steelers and Packers, in 2011, the Steelers and 49ers, in 2013 the Seahawks and Panthers, the 2014 Seahawks, the 2016 Patriots, the 2017 Vikings, and the 2019 Patriots. And the Broncos ACTUALLY gave up 296 points, so this is a major stretch. If you try to find defenses in the 2010's that gave up less than 296 points, the list would go on and on.

Same here. I will always go back to this game because it was really at this point that I felt that we weren’t all bad and that if by some chance we could get a healthy Manning back - we could have a shot at doing some postseason damage.
Turns out we did a heck of a lot more than that.
One this is for certain… that defense was keyed-up, locked in, and ready to go all season long and bailed us out of multiple games that year…
Carrying a decrepit old Manning through the season to give him a shot to go out in style with a win in February. Manning may have been the general of that team but I’m sure even he’ll admit that with out that Defense it would have been just another missed opportunity at postseason play.
This also gave me a lot of hope because if we could beat NE without Manning in the reg, we may have had a shot at doing so in the post.
And what a game that AFCC was…. Truly was a remarkable season…. And I really wasn’t for sure if we would actually beat Carolina because they were so dominant all year long. But again, that D-line, and Harris, Ward, and Talib just created a relentless force of havoc for Newton and Co.
