Thank you for your video ! One of the best explanations ever seen. I just miss some drawings maybe, for better understanding or shots from upper side of the setup... I have always thinking about the lighting, but you gave me great ideas i will try ! I'm very satisfied with this now !
Awesome video, very informative. So glad you chose to share this information. Ps I don't like getting wet much but you have given much food for thought and have shown nice technique.
Fantastic video to play the drinking game. Every time Ilko says "portraits in the rain" you take a shot ...... Seriously though, great video and some fantastic advice. Hope to produce images like yours some day!
Ilko, just a very good video on a very original topic. I predict this video will have great success over time. Also, given I speak and write three languages, I'm very impressed by what seems to be easy fluency in Japenese. You give off a very positive vibe as a person and as a photographer. I've decided to subcribed to your channel. Let's hope you'll up your content in English or French or German. Keep up the good work!
Great video! One of the best! Also, your photography is one of the best I have ever seen in my life. You have an amazing photography skill. Thank You for sharing Your knowledge and passion :) Your personality resembles all I have dedicated myself to achieve in my photography journey :) Hope one day I shall be as good as You, but I know that a lot of hard and difficult work is required to achieve what You have achieved. ありがとう :)
very informative. I've had little luck getting the right rain. By the time I get in site with my model, the rain has become a dull drizzle or stopped :(
Great video as always Ilko! Wanted to ask your advice as a fellow foreigner living in Japan :) Am just starting portrait photography as a hobby, but any advice on how to look for and get models to join in photoshoots? Also, how do you deal with the Japanese rules of not using strobes on location?
10 seconds in and I liked this video - the demo pic is stunning and he's actually standing in the rain. Respect!
Man I am so thank you made this video. There is so much information. Great job
Who gave this video thumbs down? This guy is a true sensei of light. Thank you for sharing and teaching
Fantastic video Sir. You have covered every aspect of rain photography and made it very clear. Thank you.
Finally! Someone with artistic rain shots. :) Sick of all the common black and white or moody rain shots. The suggestion of using gels was brilliant.
This is rad, thank you so much! Gotta love this guy's spirit!! :D
Thank you Ilko, very teaching video. 👍
Cool just recognised that you spoke exact the same in English and Japanese. Well done and well prepared 😉
This is awesome! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge.

Ilko Allexandroff you can add subtitles as well to your Japanese videos :)
Adding subtitles is too much work, I tried it :) rather spend that time and go shoot some more videos!
Ilko Allexandroff I really love your videos, I try to watch Japanese ones too but I don't understand so I'm trying my best.
Very good work.
love it!
Amazing tips ! Do you also use flash gel on the background flash either for single light or multiple light set up ?
