    Been loving your videos! Do you have a recco B&W recipe for darker toned individuals? I enjoyed Newpaper but found the impact contrast to darker skin tones made it tough to use

    Thank you, Kevin!!! These are all great but Lighthouse is KILLER! It's now my absolute favorite B&W recipe. Just took it for a spin today in my X100V and wow, it's got a real FP4 vibe to it, with lots of contrast without losing the subtle tones in between. And the way it responds to different light conditions, it's almost indistinguishable from film. BTW I've found that +1/3 EV is pretty much spot on all the time.

    Are these your own thoughts? AI detector says that the text you read aloud is 100% AI generated (the text from your webpage). If this is true, then I think it is really sad...

    Kevin, I love that some of your recipes can be used in my XT3. Thank you. As these days, older Fujifilm cameras are neglected in terms of creating new film simulations. Greetings from Poland.

    Thanks for sharing these, Kevin. Look forward to trying these out. Hope you get well soon. Seems a bad year for allergies, I’ve had hay fever for the first time in a decade.

      Thank you. And yes, Hayfever has been particularly bad this year for me. Hope yours isn't too bad.

    Thanks for sharing. 🙏🏼 I’m new to the Fujifilm system so I appreciate you taking the time to try out and share these. What I seem to struggle to find is a recipe inspired by the late Peter Lindbergh. I love the tones in his BNW photography. Do you have anything like that? Or have you seen any recipes like that?

      There is only a certain amount of latitude with JPEG recipes and it may be that you'll need to go into Lightroom to get something closer to what you want to achieve. Good luck.

    Appreciate the same photo samples for each profile - most don't do that so hard to understand difference. Great video. One quick question, if I may - no mention of dynamic range in the recipes. You mentioned at begining that if nothing mentioned it is off. In case of dynamic range do you set to "Auto" or to "DR100" which I understand to be the base? Many thanks again.

    • @kevin_mullins
      @kevin_mullins  3 месяца назад +1

      Thanks. I keep my DR at 100% all the time (which is the equivalent to "Off").

    • @kevin_mullins
      @kevin_mullins  23 дня назад

      Yes, always Auto WB as the Fujifilm sensors do an amazing job at that.

    As allways great recipes. Your explanations relating to the recipes, showing what is the mood, atmoshere using them. Awesome!
    Would like to see also from you a recipe for natural plants or landscapes, with a litlle bit more green in it. As an alternative.
    Anyway, the best side for high quality recipes. THANKS for sharing your experience.

    Thanks for these Kevin, well timed as my X100VI arrived yesterday! Just a question on using grain effects with Acros film sims - I was under the impression that grain effects would interfere with the grain built into Acros?

    • @kevin_mullins
      @kevin_mullins  3 месяца назад +1

      Acros does have grain already in it. Adding grain doesn't interfere as such, but certainly adds more. You may prefer to not add the grain but the built in grain in Acros is extremely subtle.
