@2Scarhand I think it started as the animator only having three or four models to work with, but as his channel’s grown it just became funnier that every person in everyone’s stories are all just the other guys.
The “needs more mud” guy is actually from Wade’s own horrid experience with plumbing that Mark helped fund the repairs for in a series called “The Drowned Man” and yes one of the solutions from the repairmen was “just needs more mud”
So I actually deliver appliances for GE, this is a horror story for someone like me. First off once we unpack the fridge we check it for damage then let the customer know if there is any, they get to decide if they want to keep it or have another one delivered. And then through the gate if it’s too small we remove the doors to the fridge then put them back on inside the house. Then when removing the old fridge we check for a shutoff before removing it and if we can’t find a shutoff, we ask if they have an accessible shutoff to the house then swap the fridges. Independent contractors that deliver for Home Depot or Lowe’s are sooo undertrained and honestly they don’t give a fuck about their job because they get paid by the number of stops they show up at and not how that install goes. Sorry kinda hits close to home. I’ve had to go behind installs like this and the customer is so done with shit like this that they treat us like an enemy.
Lul. I've never through of that xD This is a proper horror story no mater which side your on. Horror for the customer, horror for people that does the job properly!
There was an update about the fridge. It "works", but apparently it sucks and he hates it. I guess it pools the moisture at the bottom shelf or something to drain, but the drain gets frozen over very easily, so it pools the water and when you open the shelf, the pooled water just splashes out all over the kitchen
8:44 No, Mari. The animator, Sir Walter Underbridge, is not going to waste time making a fourth human model in this animation just for a quick shot like this. hence why he used a previous model in this instance and simply changed the hair out.
I've actively played this episode during work whenever I have long trips and people either don't comment or laugh at the irony of Bob's Fridge. *VERY RARELY* do I get people that *know* this episode.
Hey Mari, if you'd like a sequel, the person who made this animation (Sir Walter Underbridge) did another episode of distractible where Markiplier explains the horrors of circular phone calls concerning his pharmacy. It's actually a spiritual sequel but still counts in my book. Well worth it.
Every time I watch or listen to Bob's Fridge, I always imagine Beavis & Butthead as the delivery guys. This is just the right amount of two idiots fucking up a simple task catastrophically that'd fit right in as an episode.
Just a point of clarification, irrigation has nothing to do with toilets, it just waters the lawn for you. You are either thinking of a septic system or sewage system.
I played a joke on one of those phone loops one time. When I actually got through to a person I just made myself sound old. And i was like "You know dearie I was 27 when I started this call now I am now im 72". And the person I could tell was trying not to burst out laughing while apologizing for the wait. It made the wait a little more worth it and I think I probably made that persons day.
HOLD THE FUCK UP! YOU HAVEN'T SEEN WALLACE AND GROMIT?!??!? JESUS!! In all seriousness, it's very cute, very funny, very well made. It's what introduced most people to clay-mation and inspired a lot of artists over the years. They're cultural icons. I'd definitely recommend "The Wrong Trousers" for a first time watcher. If you like that there's plenty of other short films and little skits and even a couple of full length movies, but Wrong Trousers is the best start IMO.
5:17 this noise right here. I have never heard a single soul made this sound before. It’s a horrific sound that’s new in my life. This sound….. earned you a sub from me. Thank you for this sound. And I seen your reaction to Markimoos review on poppy playtime 5. The worst game that was supposed to end but the higher ups got greedy, fired their devs and extended it and admitted they don’t know how to wrapt it up, let alone make the darn game. The sound you made is now part of my soul. Thank you.
Idk what happened but last year or 2 years ago most of the Lowe's in Canada got turned into Rona+ and Rona is an established Québec company that basically does the same thing but is regarded better. I wouldn't know.. i havent needed their services. I usually asspcoate them with fixing things and houses lol
Do you know what’s really sad, Mari? After everything Bob went through, the fridge turned out to be ABSOLUTE TRASH. The liquid that defrosts off of the cooling element is supposed to be drained away, but apparently this drain can FREEZE. Even if you set the fridge on the warmest possible setting, STILL FREEZES. So all that defrosted liquid ends up accumulating at the bottom of the fridge and SPILL OUT onto your feet and across the floor when you open the bottom floor. A gallon of cold water that Bob has to clean up once a month!!
11:50 it's not Ai a real Ai would be able to actually talk to you and actually help get something done not jerk you around so they don't have to do their job or take responsibility for their incompetence
43:44. Toilets got one to two flushes without water. One goes down then the water already in refills. Then it’s nothing till water pipe gets turned back on. Or I guess you could just buy water from the store. To refill. But you might as well use the outdoors as your bathroom at that point
"Is Mandy a man?!" Me: "😂 No, silly goose! Sir Walter Underbridge, the creator of the animation only had models of Mark, Bob, and Wade. Mark was chosen to stand in for Mandy. It's just really funny that way."
I think what makes this story so funny to me is to reqlize how ridiculous things are Bob said along the lines that he laughs about the story in retrospect - so it's aleays better to think back of these type of things and just laugh y'know?
@47:00 When the fridge was laying on it's side, there's a good possibility the oil from the compressor moved up the cooling tubes in the cooling/freezing compartments, either slowing the process of cooling down, or potentially damaging the compressor itself. Generally you wanna give it 12 hours at minimum upright before you power it on if it's been on it's side for more than a few minutes at a time. That's why they almost always transport them upright as well.
How to deal with phone trees. There is always someone listening to see who's waiting on the line. To see how long it takes or the person to loose all control & start screaming. At that point, the people are laughing at your anger. Try this, say this clearly at the start when they put you on hold. "If they don't pick up in the next 2 minutes, I'm calling my lawyer." With out a doubt, they will pick your call up.
I understand the first set of guys' incompetence and stubbornness and frustration at bringing the fridge back. Like sometimes you can be in denial and tired and annoyed at your job. But the second set of guys is literally just the full blown personification of "Why are you like this?" But also, it's frustrating how they go on the worst side of the house, and both of them brute force it to the point where the entire property's living condition literally is worse off than it started.
57:47 a final blessed sound from Mari. If I could. I’d marry you. But alas, tis but a fantasy. And you are creeped out by strange men walking into your home while you not unladylike. Cuz they arrived too early. Yes.
The kicker to all of this? After all of this, all of this effort to get this mfin' fridge in, Bob ended up having to get it replaced because it turns out this fridge was a piece of shit. The condensation drainage kept freezing up, so the lower drawers would fill with condensed water.
5:45 until it is full installed any damages on the device are the company's responsibility so a warranty isn't needed. The needs more mud is from the drowned man series on marks channel, highly recommend.
An irrigation system is basically sprinklers and stuff outside. It doesn't affect the water indoors, including indoor plumbing/sewage/septic, i.e toilets
You should look up the short/episode of Distractible where Mark gives Bob a prompt to describe the full fridge incident without any verbs. Truly hilarious! 😂
23:58 I had to wire in my stove top because the people sent to deliver the stove top doesn't have the certifications to hook it to power. This is all despite me paying an extra $100 for the install THAT I NEVER GOT A REFUND FOR. So I had to figure out how to remove the wiring from the old stove top, and rewire the new one in while praying to God I don't zap myself or burn the house down. This is also in spite of having ZERO experience with it. So I'm working on this, and I hear from one of the kids, "Man I hope this doesn't take too long. I was supposed to get off at 5." BRO, YOU SHOWED UP 5 MINUTES BEFORE THE 4 HOUR WINDOW ENDED!! IT'S NOT MY FAULT IF YOU GET OFF AT 5:15!! Thankfully I wire it in and didn't die or blow up my new stove stop.
I used to install windows and doors for a certain company whose name is similar to the one in the animation. I didn’t work for them, but was contracted out to do their work. All their installers are contracted out to do the work. None of them actually work for the company. Believe me, they treat the installers the same way they treat the customers. I’m not making an excuse for Bob’s installers, those guy’s just sound incompetent. But we faced the same stuff the customer did. A lot of times, the things we were supposed to install weren’t delivered, or were broken when we got to the house. We started checking things in the store to make sure things weren’t broken. It was insane the amount of stuff we checked, IN THE STORE, that was already broken, missing parts or was just wrong in general!
25:00 Pretty soon I am gonna have a pistol I can strap to my waist real quick if I get a knock on my door. That's a better and quicker way to send the message than changing into less attractive clothes
19:30 Yes! I feel your pain. Its either they come too early so I have less than a minute to put on whatever clothes I see so they don't call the police for public indecency or they come too late and I leave my home for what feels like 5 min and I get a notification that I failed to answer the door and to schedule for another day.
The part around 15:45 is exactly what I went through last year. Called the emergency services and rather than immediately hearing a person, I got, “for ambulance, press 1. For police, press 2. For fire, press 3” (the order may be slightly off but still same idea). Emergency services should never have an automated system or any system that delays a person to get help.
I can't speak for all kinds of business, but I know pharmacies make it difficult to connect to the staff over the phone because 9 times out of 10, people can take care of what they're calling for faster online and the whole time the staff spends talking to the patient on the phone is time where people's medicines are not being filled.
what's funny is, this was 5 ish years ago. for about 2 years after bob was complaining that every was asking him how his fridge was, even family members, so this video is going to bring even more people to ask him again. xD
Incase anyone is curious ther are most likely 2 main reasons the 2nd fridge didnt work . 1. Water got into the back and caused a major short when it got plugged in , less likely if the shipping package was still on it you usually have a few inches of space between thr cardboard and fridge . 2. And i think this is what did happen. The fact they left it on its back layed flat for a hour or more is really bad , the longer its like that the greater the chance oil from the compressor will flow into the cooling tubes blocking them and the fidge will never cool down and the compressor will run non stop till it burns out thinking it needs to run till its cold inside . Thats why anything with a compressor on it all over the box will say things like this side up, dont lay flat or flip over
14:28 It’s not a pretty or even necessarily reliable method, but I've seen my father have moderate success with just cursing the AI voice out. Throw every swear you know and yell like the automated system itself owes you money; you'll either get a human or the line will hang up.
"How can it get any worse than this?!"
Oh, my sweet summer child, that was only the primer. The bomb is getting ready to detonate.
@MariYumeReacts hello
@MariYumeReacts yeah, it was a pretty clever analogy.🙂↕️🙂↕️🙂↕️
@MariYumeReactsYou're welcome and thank you! All my years attempting to be a clever wordsmith pay off on occasion, lmao.
@MariYumeReactsI've never seen a creator leave an audio comment! It feels like getting a Cameo, this is bizarre! 😂
The way Bob gradually rips out more and more of his hair out of pure frustration is comical
@EnderZombie-uq5ef He slowly becomes Wade.
"The Refrigerated Man"
@MariYumeReacts
*violent unholy screeches of the condemned* XD
@SileoForte LMAO I'm not that much of a screamer X3
0:00
YESSSSSS!! More Bob's Fridge reactions
It has begun
@MariYumeReacts Is the 'Yume special' autistic screeching? 🤨
8:38 The joke is everyone in the story is played by Mark, Bob, and Wade.
I like the barely contained rage Wade has when that guy comes up
So I actually deliver appliances for GE, this is a horror story for someone like me. Lul.
I've never through of that xD
This is a proper horror story no mater which side your on.
Horror for the customer, horror for people that does the job properly!
If there were ever a visual definition to “a comedy of errors,” it would be Bob’s descent into madness involving his fridge
Friendly reminder that Bob is massive 6'4" 300 lbs so if him being that level of angry is terrifying
I've actively played this episode during work whenever I have long trips and people either don't comment or laugh at the irony of Bob's Fridge. *VERY RARELY* do I get people that *know* this episode.

Oh boy...This animation was insanity
I can't see myself turning down someone's fresh reaction to the epic "Bob's Fridge" saga anytime soon.
37:50 I think the new fridge is still wrapped up and is on the path and the Old fridge is standing up right on the deck
30:15 pause…run that back!
No no no, she said what she said, with all of her chest
Wonder what you’ll think of Bob’s Fridge 2, the literal holiday special because it happened near thanksgiving.
Oh no I forgot that story 😂😂😂😂
50:08 so, the irritation system is like, the sprinklers and stuff outside, it's not the plumbing for toilets and stuff.
This animator also has an animation about Mark getting a prescription. Also a fun watch and an infuriating story if you're interested.
Bob's got more patience than I do. I would've crashed out 😂
17:31 no he is wearing pants
Just a point of clarification, irrigation has nothing to do with toilets, it just waters the lawn for you. You are either thinking of a septic system or sewage system.
@evandotson6975 I was hoping someone would point this out.
My aunt literally went through almost the exact same thing when she ordered a new fridge. What is it with these freaking appliance companies, man 😂😂
20:06 yea something like that happened to jaiden
In the video, the part of Mandy is being played by Mark, Bob's fellow Distractible host. That's why it looks like Mandy has facial hair.
50:46 “Needs more mud” is a reference to The Drowned Man. You should react to that too
12:51 After this you should check out his video about Mark and the pharmacy. It's equally ridiculous.
bob is a very reasonable and calm person
if he ever crashed out it would be for a very justifiable reason
The trick, is to say "Fuck you" to the AI calls. Most are programmed to automatically connect to customer service after it hears some curse words.
I played a joke on one of those phone loops one time. When I actually got through to a person I just made myself sound old. And i was like "You know dearie I was 27 when I started this call now I am now im 72". And the person I could tell was trying not to burst out laughing while apologizing for the wait. 19:21 Ayo 16?!!? I barley had $100 at 16 meanwhile she had her own place before turning 18 😭😭😭
Idk what happened but last year or 2 years ago most of the Lowe's in Canada got turned into Rona+ and Rona is an established Québec company that basically does the same thing but is regarded better. I wouldn't know.. i havent needed their services. I usually asspcoate them with fixing things and houses lol
THE IRONY OF GETTING A LOWES ADD WHILE WATCHING THIS!!!!😂😂😂😂😂 I laughed so hard when it came up cause the story is about their mistakes.
Reminder that bob is like 6’4 and him being pissed is actually scary
Not only 6'4. He is a BIG 6'4. So not only in height but... mass.
That's really scary to see.
By every account, Bob had EVERY legal right to sue not only Lowe's but also the delivery company
"You're gonna fix my pipe, and you're gonna fix my bush!"
When do I start? _No hesitation_
that absolutlely sucks, if this ever happens to me, im just going to tell them to just get tf off my property
You have to wonder…the kind of stuff you watch day after day.
you gotta look at more of this guys animation they are so good XD
Do you know what’s really sad, Mari? After everything Bob went through, the fridge turned out to be ABSOLUTE TRASH.

There is a moving game! Well two actually: Movin' Out and Movin' Out 2. Fun games, cute visuals, and they have co-op!
11:50 it's not Ai
a real Ai would be able to actually talk to you and actually help get something done
not jerk you around so they don't have to do their job or take responsibility for their incompetence
can i get the yume special please mari
OOOOOOOOOH!! More Bob's fridge react how FUN!!!
Love seeing this story make its round after these years! :D
43:44. Toilets got one to two flushes without water. One goes down then the water already in refills. Then it’s nothing till water pipe gets turned back on. Or I guess you could just buy water from the store. To refill. But you might as well use the outdoors as your bathroom at that point
It's all water under the fridge
Animated by Walter Under-the-bridge
"Is Mandy a man?!"
Me: "😂 No, silly goose! Sir Walter Underbridge, the creator of the animation only had models of Mark, Bob, and Wade. Mark was chosen to stand in for Mandy. It's just really funny that way."
50:46 the mud thing is a reference to something that happened to one of the other podcast guys
I think what makes this story so funny to me is to reqlize how ridiculous things are
Bob said along the lines that he laughs about the story in retrospect - so it's aleays better to think back of these type of things and just laugh y'know?
The fact that he’s still having problems surrounding fridges to this day is just a new level of incompetence.
0:22 Mari sometimes you don’t want to know how much worse it can get lol
2:10 toilet being “broken” … right. 😉
11:18 Xfinity does this. It’s really annoying when you need to pay the bill only to get the same result for about 2 hours. We live in a great world!
Youd have th hold me back if those guys did that to my yard
Every piece of animation that has come out of Distractible is comedy gold.
52:40 wasn’t it an extra hose?
All of this chaos, JUST to install a simple brand new fridge.. 💀
My favorite part, is people still ask Bob about if he's okay from this.
I understand the first set of guys' incompetence and stubbornness and frustration at bringing the fridge back. Like sometimes you can be in denial and tired and annoyed at your job. But the second set of guys is literally just the full blown personification of "Why are you like this?"
But also, it's frustrating how they go on the worst side of the house, and both of them brute force it to the point where the entire property's living condition literally is worse off than it started.
"IT MATTERS WHEN THERE'S A FRIDGE!" I want that on a shirt now.
FINALLY!!! ANOTHER VTUBER REACTING TO PEAKNESS!!! LETS GOOOO!!!
Yaaaay, thanks for the Distractible reaction! There are a lot of Distractable animated shorts that are COMEDY GOLD!!!!! I completely recommend them.
57:47 a final blessed sound from Mari. If I could. I’d marry you. But alas, tis but a fantasy. And you are creeped out by strange men walking into your home while you not unladylike. Cuz they arrived too early. Yes.
There are some good Distractible compilations, they would be great to react to!
These companies that treat people so badly like this, like the phones, all of it, need to forced to do better.
"How did he not crash out" Technically he *did*
The kicker to all of this? After all of this, all of this effort to get this mfin' fridge in, Bob ended up having to get it replaced because it turns out this fridge was a piece of shit. The condensation drainage kept freezing up, so the lower drawers would fill with condensed water.
Bobs fridge is such a legendary story! Still makes me laugh to this day😂
One 🎉
Babbling Brook’s channel has good animations of mark, bob, and wade playing raft and forest.
I'm going to watch this entire thing
"Messed up my bush" can mean different things to some people...
Oh wow. I didn’t think you'd ever react to Bob's Fridge. Definitely infuriating story.
5:45 until it is full installed any damages on the device are the company's responsibility so a warranty isn't needed.
The needs more mud is from the drowned man series on marks channel, highly recommend.
Aaaah, I heard that story on the podcast twice. I still can't help but laugh like crazy.
The Yume Special is just Mari practicing her echolocation.
The worst part is that it happened again. Bob’s fridge 2. This man is just cursed with fridge deliveries 😭
I rarely have this issue anymore as it seems to be less of a problem as more companies are seeing how problematic that was.

Bob was promised this fridge 3000 years ago
I used to install windows and doors for a certain company whose name is similar to the one in the animation. I didn’t work for them, but was contracted out to do their work. 25:00 Pretty soon I am gonna have a pistol I can strap to my waist real quick if I get a knock on my door. That's a better and quicker way to send the message than changing into less attractive clothes
Bob being a normally calm person, just goes to show that you don't want to get on a nice person's bad side
19:30 Yes! I feel your pain. Its either they come too early so I have less than a minute to put on whatever clothes I see so they don't call the police for public indecency or they come too late and I leave my home for what feels like 5 min and I get a notification that I failed to answer the door and to schedule for another day.
The best come back I can think of is asking for all of your family members phones and calling the same place at once
This is like the third vtuber reaction to Bob’s fridge that I have partaken in. It’s a vibe watching anime person react to distractible
No not emergency services now 😭
It’s funny, I’m pretty sure this experience and living in Cali in general was so bad Bob actually moved back to Cincinnati Ohio lol

48:25 my alternate dimensional self subbed to you.
14:28 It’s not a pretty or even necessarily reliable method, but I've seen my father have moderate success with just cursing the AI voice out. Throw every swear you know and yell like the automated system itself owes you money; you'll either get a human or the line will hang up.
