I know we all keep saying the same thing, but honestly Peter, you are so very talented, and the both of you so hard working, I do hope you are proud of your achievements because you both ought to be, you guys deserve the best in life !! 💖
Peter your as good as any gardener, the patio is going to look beautiful, as does everything you’ve both done so far, lovely video as usual, your both such a joy to watch, much love xxxxxxxxxxx😘❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Loving this again. I’ve watched Dan doing his rendering using same appliance in Escape to rural France, well worth watching . Love your visits to local areas too x
Good job, both of you. Great team work. I like how you take us for sightseeing. Thank you for sharing. Love and Blessings to you all. Doris, Penrith 🇦🇺🦘
Very impressed with the patio and planters. Anna it is going to look lovely in the Spring!! Can't wait to see what this gazebo will look like. It will be beautiful!
The beauty of the outdoor space you have created takes my breath away. I remember when you first moved there, how dull the farmhouse appeared after living in a chateau. This is so much more beautiful. Great job!I
The wall looks great! Nice job Peter! That barn is going to look amazing. Interesting little village, I love it when you take me places I'll probably never get to see! Ana, you're got an assistant Gardner now! That patio is going to be beautiful in the summer! Much love and big hugs ❤️🤗❤️
Lovely visit down memory lane in the village. The rendering looks great. I think you did a great job on the planter. Your place looks great guys and love the different chickens and roosters.
Hi Anna & Peter, I enjoyed the visit to the village, so reminiscent of old rural railway lines back in the UK. I can remember seeing similar types of buildings when I was young. Nice job on the planter Peter and I think that area will look wonderful when Miss Anna has worked her magic. Overall, of course its teamwork which you do so well. Take care both of you.
My GOODNESS the doors look frigging beautifully. Terrific job to what they were. And the building is looking better all the time. Take care both of you and send me a glass of gin down the line it sounds delicious. Till next time👍🥛🌻▶️▶️
Wall rendering looks great. Well done. This weather is crazy right now. We’ve had days of summer in October, then gales, torrential rain and thunder & lightening. It’s all over the place. Worrying really. But lovely to see you both. Still busy. Always busy. Take care 👍🏼
Different types of geraniums would look beautiful in those planters with some type of draping vine around the sides. Geraniums could take the heat. Coleus are beautiful too.
The barn is coming on a treat! Great learning with you about the surrounding area. Anna will make a gardener of you yet Peter 😉 Kindest regards as always to you both xx 🌹
Nice job on the wall Peter. Now a little tip for you, before you plant.. just when you take it out of the container it was in, encourage the roots a bit before you plant. Just saying for when you have a go the next time😂 Loved seeing the chickens. Thankyou for sharing Anna and Peter😘
@@ItsaWonderfulLife2 don't worry Peter its trial and error, besides Anna will always know she is a good gardener. Anyway what ever you do love watching 👀 xx
Everything looks so beautiful! All the hard work shows… Peter and Anna are you going to be taking out that row of rocks dividing that area Anna was mowing in the video so it creates a gentle slope, first would be much easier to cut the lawn plus wouldn’t looked chopped up into two parts, plus must be hard trying to keep the grass trimmed around those rocks. To get rid of the grass and weeds coming through the gravel just spray with white vinegar 60% and water.40%. You can buy cheaply a canister with a wand for an easy application. Key to catch before it seeds the sun with burn it and turns to dust. Maybe a couple of applications.
Guys check out 'hugelkultur raised bed' for your planters. It will save on fertilizer and the plants will boom for no cost. I guess you have fallen trees near.
People here have been buying these track and starting a tourist business. I know it’s been done in England too reviving the train culture with Volenteers
Interested in the name of the village. The word " sault" . Is there a rapid or cataract nearby? Thinking of Sault Ste Marie in Ontario Canada. We usually call it " the soo". Just curious.
Yes I think you may be right, the village sits on top.of a huge gorge with a bridge over and the old p9cs show the revine below flowing, it's dried up now though:-(
@@ItsaWonderfulLife2 Thanks I thought it might be so. Sault Ste Marie, Ontario is on a river with rapids near the US/ Canada border. Name given by French settlers to the Objibway name.
I have followed you from the very beginning, Peter why are you starting your videos with advertisements now, it would be nice to say hello atleast first?? its spoiling your videos. Its sad as it was the one thing I loved about your videos they were not full of adverts and never started with adverts.. I am sad your channel is loosing its charm.. Its not the same 🥺😢
Hiya! We haven't changed any of the settings in YT and for some time they have placed an advert at the beginning, midpoint and end? Good point about a warmer welcome, we can work on that! Stay with is though, you are as you say one of our first!!

Hi Peter and Anna, great job of the barn wall, 😊. The red bug with no spots is a lily beetle, they love munching on greenery. 😮. 🌺
I absolutely love your Then + Now’s! What a wonderful idea! ❤
I'm glad you discovered the pneumatic render splattering tool. Dan on "Escape to Rural France" channel has had great success using one.

I love the way you work together. The then and now was very interesting.
The barn is going to be good enough to live in. I’m pleased for you that you didn’t have to remake doors like the huge one in the village.
😝You've been teasing me with that Pergola for months.🤦♀️🤷♀️

We've missed you????
MAYBE YOU SHOULD PUT A "RUBBER LINING" SO THAT THE WATER WON'T SEEP THROUGH THE BLOCKS AND DISCOLOR THEM !!!!!
That's not a bad idea Judith, all new to.us!!
Peter, do you plan on whitewashing the wall or leave it to the elements.🇨🇦
We will be painting hopefully in a very light cream colour!
