Been playing since 1.2 but never really took the time to get deeper in the lore of GI, since there was so much to do and explore. I really loved Inazumas side quests though, esp. the story of Tsurumi Island, which got me more interested in the history of Teyvat. I want to use the downtime in filler patches to catch up on the lore now, but wasn't really sure where to start. This video was really helpful (will start with the Timeline page in the wiki and branch out from there). Thanks for your recommendations.^^
great video!!! genshin lore is rly great, and making theories from the bits and pieces we connect from them is also fun 😤👏 and maybe some advice for people who want to get into the lore but dont know where to start: you can focus on a character/area first! no need to take everything in while youre starting~ personally, i got interested in the genshin lore bc of guizhong and her impact on ancient liyue, and from there i started branching out to other related things such as the archon war (since thats when she supposedly died), then khaenriah (bc of how she possesses ruin guards in her domain). everything is connected in this game, so for future lore enthusiasts, dont hesitate to start reading up on just 1 or 2 topics! youll find yourselves in a rabbit hole soon enough~
I just started recently my main issue is I just got done with inzuma and I'm still confused on all the lore =w= like I dunno I don't really go in depth on the books or anything and overall it just I wish npcs told me instead of going heads in. Now to be fair I did skip over a lot of dialouge in liyue due to the fact I didn't give a care about the economic talk and the build up was just god it was boring. (I do the side and world quest) It just some of the npcs talk and talk about random useless things before getting to the main thing. So its very easy to miss and not understand.
