You can tell how loyal Mino is even now in WINNER. He’s doing great as a soloist but he never let anyone mentioned his name without mentioning WINNER. He loves his members so much and consider them as their family. He’s just so cute

It takes enormous courage to accept the truth that you're not good enough and stay behind while encourage you friend to move on without you. @@evitayamin5333 Team A and Team B were assigned by YG to have a special appearance on GD's comeback stage performance of Crooked but during practice Mino had an ankle injury thus being unable to accomplish his duties as a leader; Yoon was chosen as a temporary leader for the performance until Mino decides to reclaim the position but this did not happen.
Yoon was also chosen as the leader since he has the 2nd most experience under the limelight.

Mino is surely loyal but that's not the standard YG usually choose a leader. YG chooses anyone who is the best in the team in terms of the skills and star quality. It was before SY's talent as a composer was found in ep.8 of WIN, and MINO stood out as an excellent all round player type of leader back then. At the end it worked out better for Mino to have resigned the leader position though.
One of the best MINO attention I've ever known to the people around him
1.He don't want to make a song like YG STYLE because he always think about other member
2.always mention as Song Mino,WINNER at solo stage or variety show
3.he is free to ask a gifts for him at NJTTW but he is more concerned a gifts that he can used with he and group members
4. He had the opportunity to have breakfast at the program New Journey To The West season 5 but he was more concerned about the older group members
5.when he father disapproves of he joining Block B because of misunderstandings with mino company he just followed what his father said..
6.willing to forget the dream just being with his best friend(P.O)
7.he gave one of his songs to Jinwoo but jinwoo rejected it because it wasn't ready before he asked mino to give him a new song because he was ready already.

... could this be the reason why Mino left BlockB and went with B.O.M? Cause for almost 7 years I still don't know the reason why he had to leave BlockB when he cried so hard that time they saw each other again... ahhh that was a sad episode... but everything happens for a reason...
I've heard that his parents didn't agree with the contact that had been given to BlockB and wouldn't let him sign it...which maybe was good thing as BlockB tried to nullify their contract 2 years after their debut. This is only what I've heard over the years. The most important thing is they all seem to be very close still and are getting popular in their own rights which will lead them to so many opportunities to continue to work together in the future!
