The first Disney/Lightstorm co-production was the successful "True Lies" (1994). Followed by "Strange Days," "Solaris," "Avatar" and "Avatar 2" expect a few others here.
I got your point. But MCA/Universal is now focusing on new deals such as Amblin Entertainment, ImageMovers and Imagine Entertainment after they got rid some of them including Channel Communications (moved to Sony Pictures Entertainment in 1986), Hughes Entertainment (which was re-folded & re-named into Great Oaks Entertainment and now owned by Disney in the fall of 1989) and Rastar (it was re-folded & re-named into Halcyon Studios in 2000).
Years later in 2003, Disney, Paramount and Universal-International were presenting "Master and Commander" with Russell Crowe, a winner of two Oscars in 2004.
